  1. FFS. Set piece. Keeper flap. Goal.
  2. It's all the set pieces -attacking and defending.
  3. This is the issue with this wide forward lark. None of them know how to track back and defend. Wingers/wide middielders usually learn that as they progress. You can see the difference with JRC and Nyambe who dove tailed really well and looked much more solid than the left.
  4. Been the better side for the last 15 mins. Nyambe/JRC doing well right side.
  5. Bell & Brereton are all at sea here down the left.
  6. This is 4-5-1. Ball not going to stick with Arma.
  7. Hasn't taken Matt Elliott long to clock our defensive frailties.
  8. Who coaches these players? Both Bell and Johnson have both thrown the ball in field and given it away twice. Under tens wouldn't do that. I despair.
  9. What's up with Gallagher? Thought he was supposed to have had a slight knock (back when we played Fleetwood).
  10. I'd be expecting 3 of the 4 today with Lenihan making up the defence -with a keeper who hasn't played a competitive game for us. Basically our league one defence. We'll get spanked by the cherries.
  11. I think we are both reaching the same conclusion!
  12. On paper Kipre was realistic but if the club were aware a month ago of WBA interest - they would be his first choice financially and professionally so clearly became unrealistic. Interesting how our interest suddenly appeared in the local press -before the deal was completed...and since then absoloutely no nearer to a defensive signing. We have form for this each season.
  13. And just like other seasons we went after the unrealistic option in Kipre and then seem surprised we got turned down
  14. That's the first thing thing that popped in my head. It's a Palace kit not a rovers one. Not a fan at all. Like the home shirt though.
  15. I think he means defensive signings.
  16. I see that Dolan is now getting bigged up in the LT. Watch Dolan's media profile change from an under 23 signing to a first team signing the longer this window drags on.
  17. The old Hanley link returns I see. This one's got a touch of the 'Luca Toni' about it
  18. Well as we aren't privvy as to whether players are available or not, it's a bit hard to say. But a club with a European scouting network should have identified that info months ago. Blaming people on here for a frustrating window is just odd.
  19. We've come up with plenty on here. Unfortunately, it seems like the management of the club haven't got the where with all to sign any of them. Buck stops with the manager. They are his targets.
  20. Possibly the only decent window we had was in league one. Signing Whittingham, Smallwood, Dack, Downing, Samuel plus Antonsson on loan and Armstrong (Jan window). We did our business reasonably early that year and signed players who all contributed to an extent.(Whittingham being the disappointment). Since then (and before) every window has been a shit show. The probable reason for that being we were suddenly the big fish again in that league so recruitment easier at that level.
  21. Steve Evans always struck me as a hungry manager.
  22. I get that taking the standout players from a lower league can be a good ploy in the transfer market. But we are now being linked with bang average players like that Spanish midfielder at Oxford. No doubt if we did sign him, it would be credited by some on here to our European scouting network!
  23. ?? Think that explanation deserves a clap.
