Uniformed whores, Work within the law Spot on Smiffy - try telling Abbey ! The troops on the ground don't make the laws they just enforce them. I agree with the rest of the country when it comes to inappropriate speed restrictions, a government cash machine that has alienated the Police from many people who were previously happy to assist the boys in blue. Is there a gatso outside my daughter's school when cars are ripping up and down at 8.30 in the morning ? Too easy to spot, low conviction target, too expensive.... you guessed it - no camera. Safety cameras my @rse. If they were genuinely placed to increase the safety of the public they would be in areas where that would be effective. I drive a lot for a living, what danger am I travelling at 85mph on the M6 ? None, until I spy a guy on a motorway bridge pointing a speed gun at the traffic creating danger as motorists swerve and brake irrationally to avoid him. As for that cr@p "it's simple, just don't speed", stop making home made jam, button up your cardigans and come out into the real world. It's about time restrictions were enforced in appropriate areas. Schools, accident blackspots, areas where the motoring public would actually give their support.

So a young lad playing premiership football and pick of the women slept with his managers wife? That's got to be a rumour started because he was dropped to the bench, right? Com on??!! Strachan has to be one of the most uglyiest guys in football.Just imagine what is wife must look like!!!! And your saying that james beattie slept with her!!! Lesley Strachan is rather nice, her and hubbie attended an opening for one of our companies, not bad at all. The info I got is pretty solid via a major former star of Glasgow Rangers. -

[Archived] Big Ron Forced To Resign
adopted scouser replied to jim mk2's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
Over reaction if you ask me. If Ron says nigger it's regarded as racist, if Sam Jackson calls Ving Rhames nigger it's a term of endearment. I'm no big fan of Ron's, but he's apologised and that should be the end of it. Nanny state. -
At the moment Oi will be mostly listening to 'Society' dance albums (club in Liverpool) Elvis Costello compilation I nabbed off the web and drum roll *takes deep breath* Busted do a fantastic version of Teenage Kicks (teenage kicks by the undertones is one of my all time favourite records, and I never thought I would admit this but the Busted version is excellent. No sarcasm at all, theyve done a cracking job)

No need to be curious mate, they're part of the "told you so" brigade. Make me want to spew. Onward and upward to Goodison.

Back to the top. Fickle, Fickle fans. Jim - you're quiet.

Back to topic. I'm sticking with Souness. It would be a mistake to oust him now, leaving our dogfight reliant on the 'charismatic' tony parkes. It takes real strength to stand your ground against the likes of Yorke and Cole when your club's in trouble, and to remain resolute when your key players are crocked. Some of his signings have raised a few eyebrows granted, but the notion that 'king' kenny would save us is a little far fetched - Newcastle anyone ? The big fella has had a rough run recently, and maybe the more fickle among us should vent some of that anger at the dressing room. We won't go down, and should look forward to next season in the prem with Tommo, Ferguson, Gally and Stead.

Sloppy bloody game, no fingernails left now. World Champions and well deserved, I wonder how vocal our ex pats will be for the next few days ?! Oh, and something to smile about until we get tubbed by United.

I can't stand that fat ugly cow. She once referred to Pele's term of "the beautiful game" as homosexual. I mean for chrissakes, calling the most top football bloke who ever lived a shirt-lifter - cheeky bitch. One of those fat sweaty mingers with a face like horse's dimpled behind who takes out her frustration on geezers. A femi-nazi in short. She should talk, spent quite some time as a carpet muncher as I recall. Any road, back to the topic. For sheer comedy value Scooter's "Stadium Techno Experience" "Tie Your Shoes" "Respect to the man in the Ice Cream Van" and .... wait for it.... "Were not the Monkees, but we have the key"
-
"Gary Cooper-The Producer-But now it's Scooter- Who are Super Dooper" Bloody Stairway to Heaven ??
-
I can't believe 'Scooter' haven't had a mention on here yet. Lyrics ? Dark side of the moon ? Sgt Peppers ? What about "de chase, is bedder dan de catch" or "Is id a bird, is id a plane, id muz be dave, whose on de train" "de bird, de sea, de land, de tree," "How much is de fish ?" ........ marvellous.

Good and Bad really. Good TND - thank god for the likes of you, Tash, Ewood Pork etc for keeping a little friction on this message board. Friction gives a little edge, stimulates a good natter (that is after all why we all come on here). God knows even I can accept the "loose perm, handlebar muzzy and cheerio to those hub caps" jibes, even from all the mill town carrot crunchers up there. Bad This row however has to stop. Paul's a top bloke and doesn't deserve all this aggro. The board's supposed to be a bit of a laugh not a mud slinging exercise. Your posts are always a good read and sometimes a bluddy good laugh, but this saga is tired and pointless. A.S. hopeful ? Get back to having a viewpoint a little to the right of Genghis Khan, and I'll be a happy burglar in my errr hmmm shell suit.

every heard the phrase YOU CANNAE TAKE A BEATING No, but you can, Culloden. Look, you were the better team at Ewood and you went through, end of story. Now please leave our message board and return from that place from whence you came. And while you're there, remember me to your mother.
