Anyone wishing to enter - please submit your predictions for 1. The opening England game against Iran - please predict the scoreline (you can wait till subsequent match days to predict the other England games…) 2. Your guess for the 8 quarter-finalists - I.e. a list of 8 countries you think will reach the QF These initial predictions to be listed on here before midday on Monday 21st November please.

Anybody on here want to do a World Cup prediction competition ? [BRFCS has some mugs that could be given to the winner…if we can persuade @J*B to help…] I’m thinking for Phase 1 predict the England group game scores & the eight Quarter finalists…then back to score predictions for the QF, SF & final games. Scoring: 3 points correct scoreline, 1 point for right outcome but wrong score, 2 points for each QF correctly predicted… Like this post if you fancy it…if enough interest I’ll sort out an Excel spreadsheet…👍🏻

UPDATE: Ribero have advised that our shirts are scheduled to be with us by the end of this month. They will be shipped from RoI apparently, so hopefully the delivery schedule will not be affected by any ships blocking the Suez Canal or storms around Cape Horn…let’s hope the Isle Of Man ferries don’t get in the way…

Here’s my starter for ten… 1. Sacks all the existing board members…installs himself as CEO/Team Manager/Coach/Academy Head 2. Sacks all the marketing staff…issues threats to season ticket holders that monthly subscriptions to the 1875 club will be mandatory & will cost $8 per month 3. Trash Tweets about Vincent Kompany on a daily basis 4. Employs Tesla engineers to devise new training programme for the first team 5. Borrows $44bn somehow secured against a mortgage on Ben Brereton-Diaz (even though many wise commentators advise that a mortgage over a human being isn’t actually a thing..)
