  7. The 4000 Holes podcast returns with the review of January & there's a LOT to discuss. Your host Roger Whiteside leads the panel of Ian Herbert, Rory Larmer & Rich Sharpe through the events of a testing few weeks. 9. I would like another 20 points…
  10. Sam is 71 & hasn’t managed for five years. Warnock is 77 & hasn’t managed “properly” since 2022. They might have been the answer in 2021 but not now.
  11. One of the best “Subs - please check..” I think I’ve ever seen on here 😆
  12. “NURSE..! He’s out of bed again…” 😆
  13. Unless you are Tony Mowbray…when some folks still assign the “Owen Coyle relegation” (“Two more from them later…”) to Tony 😉
  14. If I was a recruiter/headhunter taking the brief to find the next manager I'd insist on a job specification that clearly stipulated the competency/capability requirements & the expected length of the contract because I think there are two (possibly conflicting) sets of requirements that lead to two quite different candidate profiles. 1. Urgent & Important Keep Rovers in this division - so need someone who understands the division & with as much knowledge of the Rovers squad as possible A motivator An organiser A communicator - not just internally but also with the fans 2. Important - but not quite as urgent Willing to work in a given hierarchy with limited influence, to a budget Proven coaching ability Proven ability to develop players for resale Tactically flexible Proven capability to learn to operate in a new division, new country You'd perhaps go Gary Rowett for 1. & someone like Will Still for 2. I fear Rovers will be driven purely by cost & the need to appoint someone to placate the fans...a former player?
  15. I’m reading all this anti-Coleman diatribe & I think we all need to remember, he did a decent job at Stanley for many years…👀
  16. Those two might yet prove consequential…
  17. Desperate, but the win is ultimately all that matters. So much work to do for the incoming manager…whoever that is.
  18. Indeed so - he’s 71, hasn’t managed since 2021 (I’m ignoring 4 games at Leeds). How well versed is he about the Championship in 2026?
  19. January's Player of the Month in association with SUITS ME - the official Rovers debit card provider - is BALAZS TOTH... MOTM template.mp4
  20. Another good source list… c/o @Miller11
