  1. Sandler has outstayed his welcome a bit for me but is ok in small doses. That new one advertised with him as a woman looks like a bad joke you'd see on family guy Watched Pirates 4 last night, love the series but felt some of the new characters a bit weak, the religious guy was just wet and hard to care about. Depp is fantastic as captain jack though what a role he plays
  2. Also that quality doesn't always translate to enjoyment. I love my films but am often bored by Oscar winning efforts, I thought grown ups was fun enough though. Watched true grit a couple of weeks ago which I thought was brilliant and Paul on Friday night which was quite funny with some good in jokes
  3. Big Scottish elephant?
  4. U2 - where the streets have no name
  5. Toploader - Dancing in the Moonlight
  6. Just been Clogg and Billycock with the Mrs. Once again fantastic food (I just had the bread basket and then chicken breast with chips and garlic and chilli sauce, Nikki had the cauliflower fritters and then cheese and onion pie), it was slow but then again it always will be on a day like today. The cheese and onion pie is exceptional there I must say never tasted any close to it. We were going to get puddings but it was just too hot in there and Arlo was starting to play up.
  7. Watched 2 films tonight: Firstly tucker and dale vs evil thanks nelsta what a fantastic indie film. Secondly human centipede 2, for the first time I recall I have cause to use the word, abhorrent. The first was almost comical in tone this was just sick with its only aim being shock value, some lines that didn't need crossing were crossed
  8. Yeah, I know a bit of Norwegian now, apparently TROOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL means Troll.
  9. Off topic but so sad to hear about a 12 year old from Burnley committing suicide, horrible stuff.
  10. Sorry to hijack, I've never eaten there I feel it would be a bit above my limited palate but menus here http://www.lenclume.co.uk/restaurant.html £69 - £89
  11. Seconded, Glenn and Ste (and those who went before them) should be credited with building a good community here and I know Glenn is keen to build that in the real world.
  12. I think it's a credit to everyone that nobody is trying to speculate here, can we just make sure we keep it that way though. I hate to see twitter and other forums full of theories etc it's just not needed why can't people just have some respect and think about the mans family.
  13. I'm glad nobody here is trying to speculate as to the reasons. I can only imgine what his family are going through now
  14. I can't get my head around this at all. RIP
  15. Finally got round to watching Trollhunter tonight, really enjoyed it, light hearted enjoyment.
  16. Ordered a few films yesterday and got this coming so I'll let you know my thoughts thanks again for the tip
  17. I enjoyed Let me in, got the original on my Sky + box still to watch
  18. Random suggestion, if you haven't seen it already try to watch apocalypto on blu ray it looks stunning and I really enjoy it. Not accurate but a good action film with great scenery and sequences
  19. I'm talking all 3, much rather watch him than any of the others, his ego is down to his excellent pedigree and high standards.
  20. For me Michel Roux Jr is leaps and bounds better than the rest

Well hello there. Most people will have seen me around these parts, my full name is Tom Marsland, 27 from Rishton. I've been a season ticket holder all my life, although my earliest proper memories seem to be the play off semi finals and final at Wembeley (vividly remember watching the away leg on the pitch at Ewood and the celebrations when Moran scored), currently I sit in N01 row 23 seat 5. Last year I became a member of the fans forum after being on a waiting list after reading the minutes on the official site, I was one of the Fans forum members who made the trip to Pune last month. I'm active on here and twitter talking football mainly. In my personal life I work for BT and have done for around 10 years now, most of my time outside of work these days is spent with my wife and nearly 6 month old son, as you can probably tell from the avatar and sig I'm a bit of a Disney / animation buff along with Wrestling and games consoles, so like Glenn I suppose I am also a bit of a geek!

  22. Clayton street is legendary it's quite sad I'll never taste their proper chips again. We used to go and eat in every Saturday lunch before rovers. Never had to order as dave just knew!
  23. Finally got round to watching v for vendetta, portmans shocking accent aside I enjoyed it
  24. I love it but not as much as 2, the aiming is somehow off IMO. I think I'm so hyped for Skyrim that maybe the timing is bad as I really want to get through Uncharted which isnt giving me time to enjoy it fully.
