  1. At times Barca controlled the game at a walking pace, masterclass in passing and movement. Rooney again was shocking.
  2. Although Iniesta has been MOTM, messi has been world class he makes the game look so easy, phenomenal
  3. More like time to revel in the fact that United have been outclassed in every way. Good times
  4. Awful challenge by Scholes a leg breaker
  5. Hopefully this could be the end of that annoying champions of england champions of europe song
  6. Wow should be 2-1 how did they not score then Ronaldo must be crying inside right now, been upstaged badly And now he spits his dummy out
  7. Rooney has been shocking again up to now he has to step up in these big games. Ronaldo has done nothing but his usual trick of knock the ball ahead and jump into someone for a free kick and a few long shots. Iniesta is the star so far Could all change though Get in 2-0
  8. Barca need to score when their on top or they will live to regret it
  9. Yer it's memerizing at times, as an aside someone one here on Monday said Burnley are exceptional to watch, well what does that make Barca?
  10. Valdes looks likes Uniteds best route to goal at present he looks dodgy
  11. One nil barca, totally against run of play. More goals to come
  12. Watched 'The Children' tonight, decent horror I'd recommend it to fans of the genre.
  13. Had to reschedule sadly, more pressing matters at hand, will defo go very soon though. Is the full menu on at lunchtimes?
  14. After hearing good reports of the cheese and onion pie we're finally going to try the clog and billycock tomorrow night. Any other recommendations off the menu, I like the look of the devilled chicken?
  15. Yup I started off just washing up and ended up....just washing up and helping with menial taks in the kitchen, peeling spuds, washing mussels that kinda thing, enjoyed it though. probably 10 years ago now for 3-4 years.
  16. Ah right must have been before my time, to me it's chans still but i recall people calling it Nellies but maybe I misheard them saying Elle's. The auberge used to superb but I havn't been for a long time, the early bird menu was fantastic value. Used to work there and the chef is a top bloke as well. For pub food I quite like the Eagle and Child over at Hurst Green.
  17. Which one was Elle's yoda? The best we have in Rishton now is Atlantic.
  18. Never been a Trek fan but have heard mixed reviews. Tonight I watched Welcome home Roscoe Jenkins, I found it quite funny and any film with James Earl Jones and Michael Clarke Duncan in is good in my books. Going to watch the inevitably awful 'Superhero movie' later just to laugh at how bad it is.
  19. Is seniors the one in Thornton? I think I went there when I was working at Cleveleys a bit back, very good. I'm a Clayton street man myself, was brought up going every Saturday lunch.
  20. Ramblings forgiven, I'm a huge Benni fan, give him a chance and he will score.
  21. Knowing our luck if we combined the two it would be someone slow and overweight who can't finish
  22. I think its a half decent return for the games he's played, if all our striker chipped in with the same ratio we'd be ok.
  23. Blue Phil say what you like but Benni has been head and shoulders above the rest of our forwards this season. Nobody at the club is nearly as good a finisher as he is. I could understand the criticism if he was tubby and not scoring but he still is getting the goals.
  24. I find some humour in the irony that Shearer lamented him for it, Shearers tackle on Lennon was it was one of the worst 'tackles' I've ever seen in honesty. All in all he would improve our team but I hate him and hope h doesn't sign, if he does however I wont have a hissy fit over it.
  25. Watched a few horrors recently of varying quality, here goes: [Rec] - I can't recommend this highly enough, great film, Blair witch meets zombie but it's actually decent. Not had as many frights in a long time. I should point out its Spanish with english titles and was remade by Hollywood as 'quarantine'. Mum and Dad - a low budget english horror, good in parts but not an easy watch especially the Christmas scene. Defo worth a watch if you come across it. Imagine the Royle family with torture. Shrooms - avoid at all costs, a bunch of annoying Americans go to Ireland on a drug holiday, predictable and copys from countless films.
