  1. Is Uncharted today I rang Gamestation and they said tomorrow! Arkham City was great fun, not just have to get all the riddler trophies. Will pick up Uncharted tomorrow and then got Skyrim on order and I want Saints Row 3, TOO MANY GOOD GAMES!
  2. Cheers Reb, seen Antichrist my god that's a film to make any man wince, or woman for that matter. Hard hitting stuff. I like most kinds of horror apart from things like paranormal activity, for some reason ghost flicks freak me out. My favourite horror in years is probably rec although I was nervous goig in the loft for a whole after ha. For a enjoyably Halloween film I would recommend Trick R Treat, camp almost b movie type collection of horror films.
  3. Most my blu rays are Disney or Pixar and they pretty much all look great. Ratatouille still looks about the best of the lot. Disapointed that there's not more Halloween films on tonight I know it's not till Monday but I like a good Friday night horror
  4. Arkham city is awesome so far, not too far into the story but spent ages doing the AR training and stuff.
  5. This is typical, 3 games I really want are Skyrim, U3 and Arkham City, why do they all have to come around the same time. I also will have to get Saints Row the third plus have a huge backlog at present.
  6. But remember Jensen was going to make the world of football sit up and take notice
  7. That sounds worryingly plausible
  8. Kean to take his job please and a real manager to replace him!
  9. Got Duke Nukem delivered today for £2.99 in that gamestation price glitch, seems fun enough if techincally bad
  10. Not played it not a bit fan of the GoW series but may pick it up on the cheap. However some games can hit hard now, the 'end' to the fantastic Red Dead Redemption was like a sledgehammer to the gut.
  11. I know its crap really but I still enjoy a McDonalds breakfast if I'm honest.
  12. Not quite a restaurant as such but we went to TGI Fridays at cheshire oaks today after a day at chester zoo. All four of us really enjoyed it, the boneless wings (made with franks red hot sauce of course) and the jack Daniels chicken strips were brilliant.
  13. I may get the Tiger game, I used to love them but then grew tired of them after the same game year on year with minor tweaks (same as I did with Smackdown Vs Raw) I've been waiting for weeks for Gamestation to get more stock of Alice:Madness returns now as I have £22 credit there and want that game. The wife is out on Saturday and I'm staying in with the baby and fancied a new game but don't know what, really bored of FPS games so they are out.
  14. They'll make more no doubt about it. Good ending though.
  15. I don't like the sound of ass chicken too much I must admit!
  16. I enjoyed it as well Abbs, I'm a sucker for 3d as it gives the cinema experience something different to watching at home.
  17. Finally got round to watching Inception, good film maybe not as good as the hype. End got a little forced I thought.
  18. I went to Red Hot World buffet on Liverpool one and whilst the selection was great I left wishing I'd just gone to a dedicated Indian / Chinese / Italian and just had one good meal instead. Then again I felt the same at La Salsa in Darwen and others rave about it.
  19. Think so Abbs, used to go as a kid for Ice Cream I think if its the same one
  20. Weirdly even though quarantine was an unneeded shot for shot remake of rec for The American audience quarantine 2 is going to go in it's own direction away from Rec I think. I like the sound of that film you listed above I'll check that out
  21. Loved the REC films, I think having to read the subtitles makes it more jumpy when something does happen. On edge the whole time in the first film.
  22. I'll be going to see Final Destination 802 when it's out, I know exactly what to expect but I know I'll enjoy it for some reason. Looking forward to Prometheus which is a Ridley Scott film set in the Alien universe.
  23. You didn't look too far then the other one was on the first page
  24. The original title of this topic is relevent to me at the moment, recently got the first 3 Pirates of the Carribean BluRays and going through them, just watched the second and I'm really enjoying them. As a huge fan of WDW it's great fun spotting references to the PotC ride that the films were based on. Some influences from Monkey Island as well no doubt although Monkey Island originally took some influence from the PotC ride I believe.
  25. Yep, when I first started going out 10 years ago we used to start over at Marleys then onto T-Bar (toffs) then up the stairs accross town to Bentleys, O Neills, then the lounge, cafe manyana (i think thats what it was called), Blakeys and then back over to the cav. Now there is nothing over where Cav etc was and it has slowly killed it off. If it was just to do with the population then surely Preston and Burnley would have died a death as well? When Blackburn started declining badly a few years back I thought a walkabout or even a revolution may have kicked some life back into it but it's too late now I think.
