Very very poor. Vale has zero ability to play with his back to goal, no physicality whatsoever.

Scott Wharton has been poor so far as well. His passing is not in the same league as his brother that's for sure

Vale really has to do better here, he's been very poor so far
-
Nothing much to report on this one apart from our tempo is too slow and Vale needs to be stronger and make it stick up top

He moves it quick because he knows what he’s going to do with the ball before he gets it. You can’t train that into players.
Agreed Tyrone. Watch how often he has that quick look before receiving the ball. It seems a simple task but it's so difficult to have that awareness of all that is going on around him in the hustle of a midfield battle.

Not the Championship but what a game this Devon derby is. Plymouth have a lad up front called Morgan Whittaker, on loan from Swansea, he looks a very very good player.

Look how quickly he moves the ball and how he's so good on the half turn. If he stays fit he is going to be some player in his early 20s, what a talent.

W.G.U.A.F.C....anyone?
It'd be nice to sing that and actually believe it again

Let's not forget that he was a mainstay in the team early in the season despite being average at best and was subsequently dropped when the results dipped. He was then brought back for the Cardiff game with something to prove, played abysmally and was rightfully hooked early in the game.
No player has a divine right to a starting place, especially one who still has a hell of a lot to prove that he belongs at this level, certainly mentally.

centre forward to replace diaz, gyorkes from coventry or riis from preston
Gyokeres would be an outstanding signing

We'd have certainly won one of the cups. I remember feeling absolutely distraught leaving Bramhall Lane after Sheff Utd had done us on pens. They were such a poor side as well but we were relying on Steve Livingstone up front by then.

Dreadful from Morton. Absolutely shocking piece of play

Wow, Pickering. Different class that pass.

Not seeing much of Pongo Lowe on match days and that can only be a good thing.

Szmodics getting a bit of unfair treatment for me this evening. He’s only been as bad as everyone else. Hirst on the other hand has so far done absolutely nothing.
He doesn't hide I will give him that. But to be fair I wish he would.

This George Worst is as weak as piss. Totally bullied by the Wigan centre half.

Oh Dacky.....

Some horrendous transfer business with George Worst and Gammy Sammy. Neither are even close to being good enough.

Dack is a country mile better than any player in red on that pitch. It's absolutely criminal that he's not being given a chance.

Fcks sake I know I'm mentioning him a lot but wtf is Buckley doing in there? Has he been told just to ball watch? His opposing man is past him every time.
-
Christ, you'd think Buckley would be chomping at the bit here after being recalled. Totally sleeping there and wrong side of his man, lucky it wasn't a pen he gave away.
Backs up all I've ever said about him, the lad hasn't got the mentality to be a top player.

Buckley is dialling a performance in here so far

About time he got himself back on here he just needs to do as i do and keep out of the echo chamber !
He's a great lad and sorely missed in my opinion. You could never question his love for the club either.

4 year contract for Jack Vale. The lad must feel like he's won the lottery.
