Why are we so slow in possession. This possession based style we try to play is totally dependent on moving the ball quickly. Our players want at least one extra touch before they even get their heads up.

I'm fucking done with that joke of a number 9. The lad is a disgrace.

Pickering getting mullered down this flank, he needs help.

Iv noticed O'Rourke is not as reliable as he was in the past.
He had Mike Ashley deal done to buy Birmingham city in the summer and a lot of his transfer links come to nothing.
In the past most of his rovers bits had legs.
I'd really start to doubt the recruitment if they didn't.

Giant killing… the decade long dumbing down exercise has worked a treat on you.
Yes Chaddy, it is my opinion. Much the same as how a lot of what you post is your opinion. Speaking of opinions, has yours on Hirst changed yet?
Only once the ink is dry on his signature on the contract at Ipswich.

Great win that and although we had to defend I never felt like we would concede.
Good performances from Pears, Markanday and Hyam who is some signing. However, Dack once again showed how good a footballer he is, was at the heart of all our good work and is key to any success we may have this season.

Morgan Whittaker, on loan at Plymouth from Swansea. Now he is a proper striker.

Dack gets the goal his performance has deserved. He is still a class above anyone else in this side.

Easiest dismissal in the world, find all those that signed on the dotted line to sanction 5 million for Sam Gallagher - Sack the lot of em.

Gallagher was no worse than anyone else today, Diaz never touched the ball in first half and spent most of the 2nd half on his arse.
Stat for the Gally haters - When he’s started games this season we’ve averaged over 3 points per game, when he doesn’t just over 1.
No wonder managers keep picking him.
With stats like that other clubs will be beating our door down to sign him in January then.

I’ve seen better players up at Blacksnape.
I don’t mean in the Darwen League. I mean top class at junior school.
Agreed. It's time to smell the coffee and cut our losses on this lad, he's a dummy with no aggression and legs of lead.
A sheep in wolf's clothing.

Can't really look beyond the Rovers substitutions as being the decision that defined the result. I am still scratching my head at the withdrawal of Dack and the introduction of Hirst, it just makes no sense.

Takes off the one source of creativity we have in Dack. Gallagher I have no argument with, the lad shows nothing time after time.

We just aren't competing anywhere on the pitch, a yard behind and 2nd to everything.
Got to start playing in their half and take it from there, we're an absolute liability when we try to play in our half.

If Argentina win will people be saying thru haven't played anyone? Because their run has been piss easy. Saudi Arabia Poland Mexico Australia. An average Dutch team. A Croatian side that's been about 2 years past their best. Fair enough France are a top side
To be fair, every team has a piss easy run until the last 8 in World Cups due to the fodder padding out the groups.

A superb performance from Argentina so far. That second goal was as good as any counter attacking goal you will see.

Well done to all concerned on yesterday's result. I honestly thought it'd be a shoo in JDT would drop Dack as per usual but, fair play to him, he made the big decision to drop Travis and it was 100% the correct one.
Maybe, we're too fixated on having a supposed 'tackler' in midfield based on comments on here pre game. The thing is, these days, it's more a game of anticipation and interceptions in regards to 'transition'. That is one of Buckley's strengths and he was excellent in that regard yesterday. That, coupled with the way we moved the ball into their half quicker was the catalyst to a great result.
So, half way in and in a far better position than most of us forecast. All to play for.

Good performance so far. Get it out of the danger zone and play in their half. Press when they get 10 yards from the half way line and work your socks off.
It's all we ask really.

Might be worth a few quid on West Brom going up before their odds tumble.
Battering Mowbray's Sunderland at the minute and Rogic, Swift and Wallace look a class above. Now they have rid of the dinosaur Bruce and have shrewd Corberan at the helm they could well get some momentum and get on a roll.
They've also got the big blunt instrument Dike up front and he is proven at this level. If he stays fit he could easily get 20 in the remainder of the season.
Only got 7/1 on West Brom so stuck them in an acca with Doncaster (20/1) and Derby (4/1) to be promoted with Dundee to win the Scots Championship and Liverpool to finish top 4. About 6 grand for a couple of quid.

I didnt realise that Blackpool were 2nd bottom. Appleton always seemed a strange appointment and it would make sense for them to get rid of him ASAP.
Mate is a seasider, he lumped on them to go down as soon as they appointed Crappleton.

It's a forum, not an echo chamber - so whoever it is you are referring to can have their say.
Agreed.
It would also be good if said poster referred to the thread title when 'having their say' as I'm yet to see any appraisal of the game from them
