We’re giving Sparks free rein this evening on the old Whiteman debate. He deserves his moment of glory.
He's been ridiculed on here for years on this one but he is absolutely bang on the money. He's right on the quality of our players as well, fair play to him.

The club has been dumbed down to the level that most fans are happy that Venkys pay the bills.
30 years ago the fans would have been apoplectic after 2 results like this, these days it's a shrug of the shoulders and see you next week.
10 years of shite and counting...

Embarrassing.
How this can happen after the Burnley defeat is beyond me. 4-1 down, second to everything and losing every 50/50.
Gutless on the pitch, clueless off it.

Plenty of ammo for @Sparks Rover in the Whiteman v Travis debate here. He is absolutely dominating him.

This is what happens when you ask non footballers to play football. There's sod all wrong with Wharton knocking that ball into the channel, instead he tries to replicate Messi and thread the needle.

Good to see the boys have come out firing to right the wrongs of the Burnley shambles

And yes I know he was on a hiding to nothing but Buckley did his usual disappearing act when called upon today. The lad is reversing at a rate of knots.

Our captain today Travis...he's a wet lettuce, beaten before we started.
I get sick of hearing about this supposed hardman reputation he has. He's soft as shite, shit on the ball and as thick as a whale omelette. All his bookings are for stupidity not marking an opponent's card. We need better in there, he's starting to remind me of J-Lo.

Kompany used his HT talk well, JDT just said more of the same. Kompany identified a lack of ability in full back areas and pressed in numbers once we had it there. First goal I have no complaints about it's good attacking play, the other 2 were appalling from us and so avoidable.

He's not the talisman you all seem to hope he is.
Jesus Christ, he'd need to be Paul Fucking Daniels to have turned that around in 10 minutes.
Have a word with yourself.

JDT comprehensively out-managed here. Sheff Utd showed us the blueprint last week but he decided he knew better...

We've gone into the lions den armed with an army of pussycat. Fucking abysmal showing this, the manager needs to front up and apologise for this. The one thing you expect is desire and effort and we get neither.

FFS, show some fucking bravery and want the ball

Does David Dunn not know we are called Rovers, never Blackburn?
Not the sharpest tool in the shed either is he? Some of his punditry here is cringeworthy.
When asked about what the game meant he said 'it's full of rivalry'. What the hell does that even mean?

Blimey, that's brilliant

god that female pundit on the sky sports panel tonight. even with the sound off I just want to tell her to shut up and ffffffkkkkkk off.
Most pundits in general get on my tits, but she's one that really just makes me want to change the channel
Rather her than that grinning prick Michael Dawson. Spends 5 minutes saying the square root of sod all.

That deserves criticism too.
He showed absolutely no strikers instinct there. Froze in the big moment. Worrying.
Yeah, he pretty much shat his pants as soon as he realised he was one on one

What have we bought in Markanday if he isn't deemed good enough for a chance whilst Hirst and Vale can perform terribly and continue to get chances.
Hard to be too critical due to our position and still feel way too early to make a judgement on him going forward but crikey JDT does make some very odd decisions.
I called the Markanday debacle a couple of months ago but was shot down as apparently we're easing him back from a bad injury and striker isn't his position??
One thing is for sure, if he's a worse option than Vale or Hirst he must be pub league level.

That was an awful way to spend an evening. There's absolutely nothing you can take from that game

Where is the urgency?

I'd take Hirst off, I really would

No joke...what type of sticker is Hirst meant to be? Mobile? Target man? Fox in the box? Literally no idea.
Definitely not a gold shiny one anyway.
Probably one of those you get in every pack and worth sod all for swaps. Like Alan Gowling in the 70s.
