  1. Clitheroe are in the FA Cup 3rd qualifying round at home to AFC Bury next week after beating the higher ranked Spennymoor in the last round. A win there and they are one win away from the first round proper for the first time in their history. Good luck to them.
  2. Dack is still our best footballer so to be completely ignored in a pitiful performance yesterday is just plain wrong from JDT. There's also the argument that bringing Hirst on in a performance where we were hardly creating is going to do nothing for his confidence either. So I conclude the same as you, he definitely doesn't fancy Dack or Markanday and I'm not sure he fancies Smodiczs either yet one we know is a game changer and the other 2 have hardly played to know either way.
  3. Still no Markanday. Looks like the marquee signing from January is a pile of old pony and a stinking legacy from our old mate Mowbray. Who'd a thunk it?
  4. Well happy with that. As good as I have seen us play in a long long time.
  5. Get in!!!! The least we deserve we have been excellent from the first whistle.
  6. Really good performance so far. We're first to everything and not giving them a kick. Some great interplay and off the ball running as well, just got to keep this tempo for the rest of the game.
  7. Mowbray masterclass there with his 2nd half substitutions. Pritchard was picking boro apart so he replaced him with Embleton. All while leaving Corry the crab on for the duration.
  8. His mentality was the one thing that shone through for me. It'd have been easy for him to play easy and pass responsibility on in order to not make mistakes. He didn't do that, he demanded the ball in tight areas and played the high tariff pass as if he wanted to show what he could do rather than just be a passenger. There will be bumps in the road but it's difficult to not be excited in his development here.
  9. It'll be interesting to see Buckley's reaction going forward now. Gone from a shoo in for selection to down the pecking order and no longer the home grown hope due to the emergence of Wharton. I personally don't think he has the stomach for the fight but we'll soon see. He either puts up in the next few months or he could well be shipped out.
  10. Can't help but think last night's performance has relaxed a few in regard to this window. I still think we're at least a couple of players short, let's not forget we had our midfield enforcer at RB last night and 2 teenagers in CM.
  11. If the lad can bridge the gap between German and the English league he could cap a decent transfer window.
  12. Find it odd he's been making the bench but not trusted for even 10 or 15 minutes here and there.
  13. Need to get some of the shit out of the door now. I'm thinking JRC, Butterworth and possibly Edun. Also, can anyone tell me the point of signing Markanday? If Vale is getting a game before you it's a bloody poor do.
  14. Great lad is Diaz, can't help but wish him the best if he does go. A proper likeable bloke, thought he was shite a couple of years ago, how he has turned it around. Good luck to him.
  15. Wharton was superb, absolutely bossed it 2nd half. No lack of bottle there, saw his chance and grabbed it, everything Buckley doesn't do.
  16. Dack is 3 passes ahead of everyone on that pitch. Class.
  17. To be fair if we get shut of JRC I will class this window as a success
  18. Our team never had an identity in all the time he was here. That's as much as I need to say really.
