Mowbray has no idea who to play and where. I’ll be honest, neither do I. So much inconsistency throughout the team. Might take till the end of the season to figure it out. Rothwell and Nyambe unless they are playing 10/10, get hooked by Mowbray every week. So frustrating. Need a huge bounce back from the lads on Friday. We just aren’t going to win enough of these winter games, played on Turnip fields against real men. Don’t have the bottle or plan of attack. QPR were dreadful, but just stronger physically all over the pitch.

Yeah I watched most of it. Pike was an animal out there. He was energetic, up and down the right flank all night and he is tough as nails. Reminded me of Lee Dixon. Would imagine he will get his debut before the end of the season. I thought McBride looked sensational as well. He is fast and has a great touch already. Looks much better than Butterworth or even Vale for me.

I thought Elliott had his worse game for us today, although he picked up a knock and was noticeably laboring after that. Rothwell is not enjoying the pitch at all, and he can’t judge his dribbling. He played 3/4 sublime long balls in the first half though. Brereton headed back to the bench, that wasn’t good enough, and it’s time to give Dolan or Gallagher a run in the side. I thought Lenihan again for me was MoM, he has really stepped it up the last couple of games, and needs to continue it. Scrappy, ugly win. Luton were much better than us for periods of time, like the last 25mins of the first half.

Just loan Bell out for the rest of the season. I’m sure there will be plenty of takers in league one
