If you had lined up Johnson, Downing and Adam and told me to pick one, I would take Adam. Just seems to be the way it’s going. Total Shambles this summer so far.

Be interesting to see what formation we see today. There was talk of the 4-3-3 Liverpool formation or Tony’s 3-5-2 at the tail end of last season.

Rankin-Costello too! Injury seems to be behind and he was sensational for the under 23s tail end of last season.

A mean that’s a really hard thing to quantify, PL quality. Does a Man of Match performance in the Championship = a PL quality performance. Think we are on the same page though. I wouldn’t mind seeing Rodwell sticking around another year but we will see. He was looking very comfortable with lenihan for a while. First half @Bolton he was outstanding in midfield.

Must of missed the 3 or 4 games that he was man of the match when at CB with Lenihan. I think his worst game was Norwich away, which unfortunately left a bad taste in the mouth due to so close to the end of the season. He was okay for us last year. Certainly better than Evans and Smallwood, and is versatile in a pinch. Im sure Tony has offered him a small deal, but he has turned it down in the hopes for something better.

Was not happy with Johnson yesterday, but now he is a Rovers player I hope it works out well and he is a solid player for us for the next couple of years. Still don't understand why he has been allowed to leave Derby if he is that great but we will see. He is a bit of an animal which is definitely helpful. Darlow, Forster or Hart would all be massive upgrades for us, so pleased with the sounds of what's happening in the Goalkeeping department. Raya has school boy errors and lets in some shocking goals, we can do better. Clearly requested a transfer after Tonys personal assault which was handled poorly. Raya is a bit of a snowflake. Gallagher is a tough one, decent striker, 5m is way too much for someone who hasn't really set the heather alight anywhere. Was hoping for Charlie Austin instead as he is a 25 goals a year in the championship player IMO, sounds like he is heading to West Brom. Wonder who the Premier League Defender is that we are in for? Could it be Tuanzebe? Would like the boy Chong for the RW too?

No need to apologize for a different opinion. Take your first point, we were tremendous that night. Was that the first time we had Travis and Reed in centre mid together? Second point, not sure if that’s the best analogy. Evans in league 1 was probably statically our best player but we all knew better. Im just disappointed in type we have been after. We need a quality CH,CM,CF and probably a right winger on loan. Nae Pensioners!!

Lovely, that was four years ago. I saw him less than 4months ago at Ewood chasing shadows and getting played off the park.
