Completely agree about Athlete - tremendous album! We have more in common than I would have dared to imagine Got the Zutons a few months back, and there are some very good tracks, but it's not a great!

I'm too angry to post a lengthy opinion to last night's game. Fortunately this one sums up perfectly how I saw the game. Jeez it's from Scotty, there must be something I disagree with Oh there it is - Ferguson was "injured" last night, that's why he wasn't even n the bench. BTW no replays needed for me, we were directly in line (CIS stand) with el diver, and it was one of the most clear cut decisions I've ever seen - given the wrong way!!!

I think Neill was too scared to go anywhere near the touchline in the second half incase another one of those advertising toblerones crashed down on him from the big telly!

If last night is anything to go by then Thompson is not playing well. Yes he scored two goals (which then meant him playing the glory boy again, shooting from anywhere to get the hatrick, when better options were available!), but didn't command the middle if the park. I hope the Thompson/ Savage partnership works, but I much prefer Thommo on the right.

I agree broadly with Scotty's summing up of last night's events , apart from Mokoena. I thaought he started well but just got worse as the game wore on. There are signs of quality but I feel he will need time to get used to the pace of the PL. Lucas Neill should be dropped immediately. His defending was poor and his passing was wasteful. Overall a night to forget. Ps anyone know why Jansen wasn't in the squad?
