[Archived] Rovers 0-2 Everton

What a terrible excuse! My defence of Andy Todd then is , he was the only defender with the positional sense to spot the danger. If it hadn't been for our magnificent attacking play in the final 15 minutes, Zurab 'would have cost us big time'! Sorry, have to go now... it's playtime! -

I'm with Den on this one. Todd was our best defender until the sending off on Saturday. Why is no one screaming to have Nelsen dropped? It could quite easily be argued he was at fault for the first goal (he cost us big time ). This board has some very decent, and interesting contributors, but in the interests of diversity, it also contains some fickle footballing dunces -

Todd continuing what crap form? You might have to explain that one to me. I agree, he was our best defender until the travesty, it's seems a coincidence that those calling for Todd to be dropped are the ones who don't attend the games! -

That surprises me! I see Clattenberg as head and shoulders above the rest of the muppets. My prediction for todays game is a penalty to Rovers, after that who can tell... -
Carry on Scotty! This messageboard would be very dull without stong opinions from the likes of Scotty and TND, and unless the slanging gets offensive, then I see no reason why they should not air their views in whatever style they like.

Spot on! Brad isn't what he was, but he is still one of the best in the league.

Excellent point, it was an awful and unnecessary challenge! Also I see Jose Moanrinho is now making excuses for his team's performance THIS Saturday against Rovers! He says Rovers will have an unfair advantage because we only played for 90 minutes, and will have an extra day to recover! To$$er! -

Hilarious! For anyone to suggest we lost yesterday because of some neanderthal chanting is desperate! Also those who blame Brad for the goal are misguided. Shearer scored a good few of those for us, and has got a few more since. The ferocity of that free kick was awesome, and would have beaten most keepers. For thsoe who feel better blaming someone for the defeat, look no further than the officials. -

Todd for Niell, with Zura playing right back. Thank you please! -

Good entertainment for a tenner - just how it should be! Some people have been advocating dropping Todd (our player of the season two years running!) for Zurab. I see it very differently, the obvious move would be to drop Neill and move Zurab across! -

If not 'Clubfoot', then how about 'Kennedy' by the Wedding Present? Although the line "too much apple pie" would have been more apt for the Souness era! -

It has to be Clubfoot by Kasabian, for any of you who hasn't heard it, once you do you'll agree! If we don't use it someone will! -

Also good to read that they intend to add a new commercial director, as I believe commecially at the moment we are rudderless. -
[Archived] Stead Completes Sunderland Move
Tony Diamond Inc replied to LeChuck's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
According to my sources, Hughes (allegedly) did not rate Stead almost as soon as he had begun working with him! £1.8m for a Championship grafter aint bad business - should pay Coles wages for a few weeks -
I find it laughable that people are amazed at the (lack of) ticket sales. This is a pocket liner for a man who I dare say is extremely comfortable (financially). Why should I give ?10 to Tony Parkes? And please don't call me disloyal, becauase you would be so wrong! PS If you want to show Tony your appreciation of his services, why not write a letter. It's alot more personal, and cheaper!
-
Yeah, £10 a ticket. I thought the same about Parkes!

That's not anti Rovers, that's anti Savage, and he'll get it wherever he goes!

Going to see The Tears (Anderson/Butler) at Liverpool on Saturday and Kasabian in Manchester on Sunday. Here's to a delightful weekend at the concerts!
