Last 2 games understandable why he hasn't seen any minutes but surely Durberry is going to be recalled by Brighton in January? -

Tronstad has been excellent since he signed has had many more good performances than bad. He is a defensive midfielder what part of his game do you not rate? What does he not do that you feel he should be doing? If I remember correctly you also thought Graham was useless for us? -
Even when Brittain was out he played Carter at Rb who will be back in January Duru won't get minutes here this season

We don't know we didn't enquire about Johansson other championship clubs were in for him. His transfer fee similar to Toth but guaranteed he will be on double the money, I'm also pretty sure the new recruitment team weren't even in situ when Stoke signed him . No money leads to poor recruitment. What did Ohashi cost £200k?Gueye £600k...I don't see players at other clubs who cost similar money tearing up the league -
January Transfer window

Nixon linking us with a January loan for a young Polish midfielder from Arsenal,Michal Rosiak aged 19. We need pace out wide, another striker and a centre back before looking to loan in more kids that Eustace won't trust -

If Wednesday comes and the only changes to the starting 11 are Gueye for Ohashi and Weimann for 1 of Dolan or Hedges then I'm gonna be critical of Eustace, he doesn't have the best set of attacking players but he needs to find another way rather than doing the same thing over and over I'd agree with KentExile that maybe 3 at the back with Beck and Brittain at wingback is worth a try and get 2 of Leonard,Ohashi and Gueye up top with Cantwell as the 10 behind, Dolan should not be playing as the 10 for us he is too wasteful with possession. It's hard to portion too much blame to recruitment the budget was less than what we received for Gally Ennis and Whalstedt ffs, so not only did they have a pitiful budget but we also took an age to appoint Park ,Gestede and the other fella. They will have buttons to play with again in January but pace is desperately required so hopefully they can find someone in the bargain bin Don't think we will go down as there are poorer squads in the division and we have a good start on them but it will happen eventually with these owners now they stopped helping pay the bills never mind investing in the squad. They will hang onto us till the bitter end.Depressing -

What was Lewis Baker signed for?Seems a waste of a wage to me,has he had any minutes In his actual position? Leonard should have been brought on instead of Gueye. This has been woeful -

Durberry is injured It said in the telegraph the week after Swansea game that Eustace had said he was due to start that game only for picking up an injury Hope he gets fit soon the attack needs something else no idea if he be good enough but in his cameo appearances I thought he did OK -
I'd have Cantwell central myself but in the interview he did when he joined he said one of the reasons he chose to come here was because after talks with the manager they were both aligned on the position and role to get the best out of him. Someone else mentioned it on here might have been Chaddy but it was after a season from playing from the left that Villa bid big money for him. I'd have him playing as the ten, did he play from the left or central at Rangers?

At least the full backs today will add to our attack, Costello and Beck more quality going forward than Pickering and Carter. Hedges and Dolan have been shit in recent weeks -

Where is Durberry ? -
Up to Burnley we were playing the ball into him and getting players around him and he looked decent, defenders where struggling to deal with him and he showed excellent awareness Apart from second half v QPR we haven't played to his strengths or Ohashi, it's been a famine for them in terms of chances created or even getting them involved by playing decent balls into them We would have a player if Gueye had ohashis finishing ,if he is to be the starting player at CF then the 3 playing behind will need to be scoring a decent volume of goals ,I don't see him getting double figures but other parts of his game do look excellent for this level but only any use if the rest of the team are at the races and the 3 behind are getting involved in the play.

Looking forward to having Beck back and I hope after this two week break Cantwell is ready to be starting every week,he needs to get a run of games in Crozier Durberry should get his first start too ,we ain't seen end product yet but his quick feet will cause a bit of panic and he looks decent at getting around players Is he away with England underage again,? If so probably means he will be on the bench. They should have loaned Duru out he should have been on the bench today with jrc at rb -

I'm a fan of the job Eustace has done so far but he does deserve criticism for today. More players should have lost their place after the midweek game against Coventry, and he shouldn't have had Carter at rb with the tricky players they have wide. Also after the extremely poor first half changes should have been made at ht ,Cantwell on ,Jrc to rb and I would have brought Baker on for Travis at a minimum -

I'm a fan of Weimann but he shouldn't be starting 3 games in 7 days. Becoming evident that Eustace doesn't particularly rate Crozier-Durberry if he can't get a Start after the no show by our attacking players midweek.Brighton will be asking for him back at this rate -

They have lost once at home this season A pretty dismal display midweek? They only lost 1-0 to one of the favourites for promotion. They have beaten both Sunderland and Luton at home In recent weeks they have looked alright and have Whittaker, Cissoko and Hardy in attack ,who are not bad options at this level A draw would not be terrible result here, it is in no way a must win -

Really poor from Dolan not only his involvement in their second goal but he also should have played a better pass into Ohashi in the opening minutes after initially doing very well dummying the defender We go 1-0 up we come away with a draw at least, lucky it was only 3 in end by far our worst performance in quite a while Hopefully we can get a result v Plymouth and then use the international break to work on our attack find a preferred four who can work on finding chemistry I find it difficult to be overly critical of Ohashi as the lad is a finisher but the service has been pitiful last few games but I would be bringing in Gueye in as he was making it stick and getting the other attacking players involved in the game upto his sending off -

Only Wednesday have Both West Brom and Burnley only beat them by a single goal . They have only lost once at home V Stoke 0-1.They seem to be doing a bit better under Rooney recently and going off the results so far this season it will be a tough game -
John Eustace - our head coach
islander200 replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
But what have we spent of that 40 million? It's no good bringing in that if you invest a tiny amount back I'd say with that £40 million money should have been spent to build a promotion based squad. With what money they where given they look to have done very well to build a competitive squad but it shouldn't be an expectation on Eustace to get us into the top 6 imo, apologies if iv picked you up wrong and that isn't what you are saying. All the signings came in late and we did lose our best player and main goal threat and up to the Derby game a lot on here including myself where majorly worried whether he had enough to stay in the division never mind challenging for promotion -
John Eustace - our head coach
islander200 replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I think Eustace is doing an excellent job but he isn't getting a Premier league job at this point Even if the teams tipped for promotion in this division Burnley,Sheffield United, Leeds...I don't think they would be in for him By all accounts he had done decent at Birmingham but when he was sacked a few jobs in this division became available and passed him by. Prem clubs and promotion expectant clubs are not going to be in for him on the back of keeping us in the division and the excellent start this season, we are 5 games in. If Russell Martin got sacked tomorrow I'd bet my life on it that Southampton wouldn't be approaching us to speak to Eustace Of course if the form continues and he continues to develop the side and we are up in the playoffs then we are at risk later on At the moment it would just be clubs like your stokes Hulls norwichs etc and although those clubs spend more money and their owners are more ambitious they are also more trigger happy and sack the coaches .If we are doing well ,and they ain't selling the team from under him then he wouldn't be jumping at those jobs as he is near guaranteed to see out his contract here without fear of the sack just by keeping us in the division In all fairness with very little money spent our squad isn't looking bad early days I know
