Baker is a central midfielder and did fine when played there instead of Travis v Hull. Very hard to find another midfielder (better than Baker) who will be happy to come here and sit on the bench ,hoping for one of trav or tronstad to get injured or suspended. Its the same with centre back, I can't see Eustace breaking up the pairing of Batth and Hyam, and Carter will be back in January.Unless you over pay on wages hard to see a centre back willing to come in who will potentially be 4th choice.Id like a cb but just don't see it happening Any money we have should go on a striker followed by a winger

Why do you feel we are in danger of losing Cantwell in January? He was available in the summer for a pittance of a transfer £500k yet he ended up here . Nobody will be coming in and bidding enough money for him in January

He is a defensive midfielder. His job is to break up opposition attacks which he is excellent at. I didn't see Luton breaking forward too many times in that first half Do you know anybody else who thinks Tronstadt is poor?
