  1. This goalkeeper has me underwhelmed also but for balance we don't know he will be crap yet so can't judge recruitment yet I presume it was recruitment that found De lange, he wouldn't have required a visa but again the budget wouldn't stretch to paying what it would have taken to bring him here Recruitment list...manager list ...it's obvious the budget is shit and we don't pay the going rate .
  2. Mafoumbi will take up a spot surely? I'm not that clued up on the rules but he is on a professional contract here so I'd presume irrespective of age then he would have to take one of the 4 slots
  3. No the owners are too tight to pay the going rate for a decent domestic goalkeeper The club wanted Rushworth or Travers the measly budget given by the owners won't stretch to paying for them
  4. Beyond disappointing that it looks like we won't be paying a fee over £1 million again despite all the money being brought in This will eventually lead one way and that's down. Paying league one fees and wages and hoping to compete at championship level.
  5. Yeah waste our time and then decide the numbers don't fit and move on to a prem loan This Hungarian could have been done a couple of weeks ago, instead we have waited around for others and then walked away due to costs involved Again absolutely no clarity behind the scenes, if they know the budget why are we wasting time on players that they won't pay for
  6. Nixon has also said on his patron that no personal terms have been agreed with Cantwell. If we are sticking to a wage structure no chance he comes here. At least 20k per week he will be after
  7. We tried for travers and Rushworth. They wouldn't have been coming here to be understudy to Pears. Eustace clearly wants a new number 1
  8. Nixon reporting this now Mentions a fee of £1 million, wages not an issue.Rovers still keen on Ruddy but won't risk being turned down at the last minute
  9. I was in the shop on Friday looking to buy a females and 4 year old .The pink females was sold out
  10. Ruddy was on the bench for Newcastle, they are trying to move out the lad they signed from Forest. I don't see Ruddy leaving even if they sign Trafford
  11. Nixon said "looking at a foreign one that has come out of nowhere" when asked about where we go now for a goalkeeper It's absolutely pathetic..40+ million brought in and we were obviously hoping Brighton or Bournemouth would do us a deal on Rushworth or Travers, with us paying a fraction of the wages.Soon as other more ambitious championship clubs enter the race we leave it
  12. Has Eustace spoken with any media yet? I hope we get a keeper in tomorrow and if it is a loan then permanents next ...I know I'm dreaming cus we gonna end up with just loans
  13. Shit showing tonight Moment of madness by Eustace making all those changes No doubt the head coach will be let down along with the recruitment team when we end up not going for eithers lists and are hurriedly begging for loans when the owners ain't giving the go ahead and club goes silent again until waggott can come up with a decent lie A shit ending to the window and a hammering by Burnley will make the decent start a distant memory going into the international break
  14. Nixon saying that Leicester are in for kaminski at 10 million and Luton might try take Travers on a permanent deal to replace him
  15. Thought they didn't like Broughtons list
  16. This is heading towards deadline day scraps in the loan market
  17. We can recall him but wouldn't be able to play a first team game until January
  18. Garrett wouldn't be able to play for us until January
  19. If we do sign Travers or another goalkeeper fingers crossed they go straight in for Burnley and we don't have to wait for another Pears howler before they get in
  20. He had Matt Richie going back to Bournemouth. An hour or Two later he was announced at Pompey
  21. Carter didn't train all last week no chance he starts in this game and Hyam shouldn't either It's a struggling league one club at Home, both Batth and Mcfadzean are going to be called upon this season and they need some minutes in their legs. Both should start this one
  22. For a club like us who spend little money every window the data led approach is a necessity in my opinion. Obviously it's early days but on their performances so far then Ohashi and Gueye look two bargains and they would not have been found without a data led approach. Stoke decided to pay £1.6 million for a striker with champion experience and a player their head coach will be familiar with Sam Gallagher. We signed our two lads for less, and they will be on less money than Gallagher too. Again I think Eustace is doing a very good job in what he was employed to do ,coaching the team and picking up results just not comfortable with some of the names it's speculated he has his heart set on like Dembele
  23. Why is he head coach and not manager if he is running recruitment too?
