  1. He is 22 not 18/19 he is going to want to know if opportunities are going to come at Brighton. If they ain't giving him an opportunity this season then I can see him pushing to leave. He can get a pay rise along with first team football at another club.
  2. He is out of contract next summer (if no option)
  3. They are signing a young striker from France 14 million. Arma didn't play much for them anyway to be fair, certainly not in second half of season
  4. I'd say Armstrong is one Wilder is waiting on
  5. Well if they have ,he hasn't signed it.I think it's a long shot we get him back but I just wouldn't totally rule it out
  6. If no chances for Van Hecke and he asks for a move then going off this good chance they let him go
  7. LCB he was playing. He may have played some games as lb im not sure on that but he isn't a wing back for sure and Brighton play with 3 centre backs. And Veltman did well at the back end of last season playing as one of the 3. If Potter was sold on Van Hecke and opportunities were on the horizon you would expect them to have offered a new contract already with him only having 12 months left
  8. Bit early to say he would be an upgrade on anyone we have at the club. He did play well in some of his appearances for Liverpool but surrounded by 10 world class players . Clarkson played 90 minutes in the Champions League for them and Klopp was talking him up last summer too.
  9. He hasnt played a premier league game yet so can't really say that's his level. And he is on a low wage 4.5 k per week
  10. Not really apart from a 6 month spell at West ham (who were playing exceptional at the time)he hasnt done much in the last 3 year. The likelihood is Forest will have a lot of games with their backs to the wall and will be one of the teams toward the bottom like most promoted sides. Does Lingard have the stomach for a struggle near the bottom? Not so sure myselt.Time will tell I suppose
  11. How can you be so sure?1 year left on his deal.Webber and Dunk have 2 of the 3 spots at the back. They were in for Bassey who went to Ajax for £22 million so are in the market for a centre half and have Veltman and Duffy there aswell. Another one of their young centre backs who had been around the block on loan was sold to Napoli for £4.2 million this summer as he asked to leave due to a lack of chances in the first team. Van Hecke will want to be playing every week not a bit part role, his wages are apparently 4k per week. It's a long shot but I wouldn't say no chance of it happening,he loved his time here and no prem club is buying him and starting him at this point
  12. Still on 115k per week basic though which is ridiculous in itself
  13. Styles price will be dictated by the level of interest in him.If we are the only show in town putting the bids in then we should get a good deal but if the reports are true that Ismael is keen on him joining Besiktas then it could be tough going and his fee and wages may be too much for us . I'm no Nickoteen and think he is arrogant but to be fair to him he has got quite a few deals right across the football league this summer. Even ourselves he was the first in the media to report our interest in Davies and Anel. And he was the first the other day to break the Brittain story. From what I can see Sharpe and the lancs live fella are getting their stories from his Twitter feed
  14. Nixon reckons we are after 2 centre backs
  15. Hopefully get the deal done before Ismael at Besiktas decides he wants to work with him again
  16. If no reasonable offers then we can't sell him just yet can we? We need to hold tough and try get as much as we possibly can for him. If he starts the season with us so be it, a team or teams will panic as deadline draws closer and are likely to pay more, especially if he begins the season in goalscoring form with us. The club do need to be sounding out possible replacements etc tho
  17. Yeah but was hoping we would be moving away from taking this type of player on loan a kid with minimal experience. According to Nixon our competition was Oxford who had a chance at the deal due to being able to promise minutes. I hope we haven't given a guarantee over a certain amount of gametime but we will have
  18. If Morton is coming in I hope a league one loan Is sorted for Garrett. Shouldn't be playing u-23 this season
  19. Rich Sharpe's view. The club won't have told him the exact number of players we will bring in or position and he did say the club will at "least" replace the players from the starting line up last season The season Barnsley finished 5th Styles played LWB the majority of that season,I wouldn't think Morton being brought in would hinder a move for styles if it Is happening
  20. Styles can play all over he isn't predominantly a centre mid. Although iv only seen Morton a cpl of times himself and Styles are chalk n cheese.Totally different type of player
  21. Styles could be seen as LWB. I hope it isn't true about Morton looks a good prospect but we have our own academy lads to give minutes too and no doubt Liverpool will want Morton playing and if playing with a midfield 2 then it will be Buckley and Travis starting
  22. Pete O'Rourke saying Dwight Gayle signing for Stoke on a 2 year deal
  23. 32 starts out of 46 last season and 28 starts the year before Good player no question but a player on the decline and would be looking for good money these type of signings Graham and a couple of other aside generally don't work out for us and we get burnt paying too much of a wage. Wouldn't be surprised to see him end up in the states or middle Eastern club
  24. Top man.Efforts appreciated
