At least, and at long last, we are at least trying to force change and save our club.

I had one in Covid season as well, I wanted to help my club. It feels like the owners of our club and the administrators they employ have no such sentiment for our historic club and its supporter base.

So, all out from this Saturday’s match ? Normally I would be there but I’m prepared to miss for the greater good. I hope that other ST holders feel likewise.

Let’s get the call for a boycott moving then, it is way overdue.

Count me in, would need massive social media campaign and also for LT to communicate the campaign, albeit they will never endorse it.

I always like to read Arbitro’s habitual post match reflections and also Parson’s comments, albeit these appear to be less frequent. A bit worried that even the considered thoughts from these two Board stalwarts appear to be drying up amidst the continued frustration, chaos and wanton destruction of our beloved club. Sad times, indeed !

Not a dig but what have we achieved, the Trust, the Coalition, the fan base, over 15 long years ? They are still here, Pasha is still here and our club is still being destroyed !

We should, if we want to save our club for the existing and dormant supporter base and for our future generations.

I am ST holder for over 40 years, I still attend but struggle to enjoy it and more and more it is out of duty and feels like a chore. Pre-season, I was praying for a coordinated approach on ST renewals and if the call had come, I would have observed a boycott but nothing comes, from the Trust, Coalitions etc. It appears to me that there is nowhere for this supporter base to go now but to have a full on match boycott, everyone out for a specified game to turn the heat up and get publicity and the spot light shining brightly on this scandalous destruction of our club. The organic boycott we are seeing and feeling within the funereal atmosphere of the stadium, is not newsworthy and isn’t highlighted, to outsiders we are now just a club with shit support. It is a tragedy and will lead to the death of our club unless we act, sooner rather than later !

I agree, I think if everyone was available for selection, then we have a really decent XI and a much stronger bench than Ismael is currently having to work with.

Same around me in the JWL, a lot of ST holders taking the comfortable option of watching from home.

The Nigerian AFCON squad is due to be announced today, my guess is that he will be included. Would be great for the lad but terrible for Rovers.

I don’t want to but out of a misplaced sense of duty, I will be there to support the XI that turn out in blue and white shirts. I imagine it will be the lowest crowd for a league fixture for many years and the way it is going, I can’t see anything other than an Oxford win and another utterly miserable night for Blackburn Rovers supporters.

They are just incompetent, they just don’t want to admit that there is anything out of the ordinary going on and hence, the radio silence. As far as they are concerned, the line is we have just been unlucky with the weather and so this Oxford match is just business as normal ! I’m really hoping it is called off, with everything going on off the pitch and the injury situation, we could do with a postponement finally going in our favour.
