  1. He is indeed, from Todmorden and why I never liked him 😂
  2. Sounds like unless he gets answers, he could be following JDT and Eustace. Resign and constructive dismissal claim for the remaining years of contract !
  3. They do indeed but I don’t really understand why there is differentiation between ST and folk who paid for match attendance. Both have already paid for the fixture.
  4. That sounds like procuring a report and telling the consultant what findings he needs to confirm !
  5. I think they should go further still, free entry to all Wednesday fans who travelled and to all Rovers ST holders and walks on who attended and £5 charge for anyone else.
  6. I’m hoping it is called off, we have a severely depleted squad and another postponement, even a pre-emptive one, will increase the pressure and highlight the issues at our club.
  7. Brittain had a decent season but for my money, Ryan A is a much better all round player.
  8. Very sad but very true with regard to distance between club and town. Partly down to demographic and the town certainly hasn’t moved on in any positive way. Blackburn used to be a really top Friday / Saturday night with cracking, numerous and heaving pubs but today, there is hardly a town centre pub left.
  9. I think I would rather go with the majority and Arbitro on this one, unless your Howard Webb 😊
  10. It isn’t blue & white specs, just a clear red card, irrespective of the relative speeds of Morishita and Davis. Had it been Miller on Hirst or Akpon, it would still be the most blatant red card. Your very valid point that the red card incident didn’t prevent us from seeing the game out, I couldn’t agree more.
  11. I don’t have anyone on ignore, everyone entitled to an opinion. You have a well versed opinion on Tronstad and now Miller, your perogative. My issue was with you arguing with Arbitro, a first class referee for many years and probably, the most respected person on the Board as to whether the official got it wrong on the red card call. From my vantage point in the JWL, I was 100% certain it was a red card but I haven’t seen it on the TV. If Arbitro had posted today that it wasn’t and their was a good case for the referee making his decision, I would be happy to accept it basis his fairness, professional credentials and long first hand experience.
  12. For balance, like Arbitro, I didn’t think the Yuki incident was a penalty. From my seat, I thought it was a foul but outside the box.
  13. In the JWL, bang in line with it. No doubt in anyone’s mind with that view point that it was a clear red card.
  14. Bloody hell, Tronstad is hopeless and Miller even worse. Now you’re arguing with a fair minded Board member who has refereed at the highest level. What’s the view like from up there 🤷‍♂️
  15. No manger will ever say their player deserved a red, unless it was reckless challenge endangering a player and even then, rarely. Smug Kieran knows it was a red as did everyone else in the ground.
  16. Miller is playing pretty well but in truth, the QPR goal and yesterday’s late goal both came from him conceding possession very cheaply, when under no real pressure.
  17. I think you meant to say Leif Davis isn’t getting back !
  18. The loss of home fans is everything about Venkys and the way this club has been systematically downgraded and dismantled, both on and off the field. However, your absolutely right, the home record and season upon season of conceding late, late goals and never coming from behind to win matches is another major factor for the sparse crowds and funereal atmosphere at Ewood.
  19. Sadly, that tells a story. I wonder how many last minute winners we have conceded during the intervening period, a lot is my recollection🙈
  20. Good spot, 2/3 foot and and now amended.
  21. As soon as the foul was made and the referee blew, I thought it was a red and I was right in line with it. The Ipswich manager has all but conceded that it was a red and everyone I know who had the benefit of TV, said it was a clear and obvious red card. Morishita was 2/3 foot clear of both defenders, albeit a distance from goal, not really sure how you think there was plenty of time for Davies to cover.
  22. Thought we really put a shift in last night, the few of us who turned up provided as much vocal support as possible and the players responded with a decent performance. It would have been a thoroughly deserved three points and letting it slip again at the death, just 3 days after the same fate at Wrexham, was heartbreaking. As we all know, our football club has shipped many late goals and scored very few and it is a habit that has persisted over a lot of managers and like the failure to come back from behind, it seems to now be baked into a very unwanted DNA. The referee was atrocious and got all the big decisions wrong and on that score, we just never seem to get a break. Saturday’s match is now pivotal, if we can’t win that, I really do fear that could be the last straw for the team’s confidence.
