Kevin Gallagher talking absolute crap again on Radio Lancashire, prattling on about it raining a lot and being next to a river. Of course, no one put him right that the Groundsman said nothing to do with the river in respect of the Ipswich fixture.

I don’t want to but out of a misplaced sense of duty, I will be there to support the XI that turn out in blue and white shirts. I imagine it will be the lowest crowd for a league fixture for many years and the way it is going, I can’t see anything other than an Oxford win and another utterly miserable night for Blackburn Rovers supporters.

They are just incompetent, they just don’t want to admit that there is anything out of the ordinary going on and hence, the radio silence. As far as they are concerned, the line is we have just been unlucky with the weather and so this Oxford match is just business as normal ! I’m really hoping it is called off, with everything going on off the pitch and the injury situation, we could do with a postponement finally going in our favour.

It feels like the coalition of the silent, absolutely nothing for what seems like months.

I am a ST holder and go every home match and a good few away. Attending Ewood now feels like a duty and a chore rather than a positive experience that I look forward to and this is all down to the muppets who run this club. Nothing would give me greater pleasure than not renewing my ST or boycotting fixtures should there be a formal call from the coalition / Trust / LT so that everyone is up for it. We need a totally empty stadium to send a clear message that enough is enough.

We are all left in the dark, many more will make their own minds up like Uddersfelt Blue and TugaysMarlboro.

They do indeed but I don’t really understand why there is differentiation between ST and folk who paid for match attendance. Both have already paid for the fixture.

That sounds like procuring a report and telling the consultant what findings he needs to confirm !

I think they should go further still, free entry to all Wednesday fans who travelled and to all Rovers ST holders and walks on who attended and £5 charge for anyone else.

I’m hoping it is called off, we have a severely depleted squad and another postponement, even a pre-emptive one, will increase the pressure and highlight the issues at our club.

Very sad but very true with regard to distance between club and town. Partly down to demographic and the town certainly hasn’t moved on in any positive way. Blackburn used to be a really top Friday / Saturday night with cracking, numerous and heaving pubs but today, there is hardly a town centre pub left.

It isn’t blue & white specs, just a clear red card, irrespective of the relative speeds of Morishita and Davis. Had it been Miller on Hirst or Akpon, it would still be the most blatant red card. Your very valid point that the red card incident didn’t prevent us from seeing the game out, I couldn’t agree more.
