  1. A good call that, especially given the fucking big hole the stooges have dug. Also need to get more tickets from the Blunts.
  2. Now just waiting for WATR’s to find some backbone and get behind this, a fully united coalition will make life wholly uncomfortable for the three stooges ! Fuck Jim White and his bullshit bluster but now for sure, ‘Venkys, We Are Coming For You’ !
  3. Perhaps even report that they are well ahead of the corresponding period for the last 5 years. Given that they have never been on sale at this stage before, they wouldn’t be lying !
  4. A major price initiative for today’s match, like PNE at £5 adult and £1 for others, would have brought out more support for the team and a chance for the desperate stooges to increase sales. However, just too much like hard work, who the hell wants the hassle of a full stadium and passionate support 😡
  5. I’m at 43 years and had decided that my only protest left was to not renew. If there was a really concerted and public effort that felt like we were making progress and called on all supporters to boycott ST’s, I will happily comply but without it, my resolve is waning 🙈
  6. The old saying, any publicity is good publicity and the Venkys get plenty of it for being the owners successfully dismantling and killing one of the world’s oldest and most famous football clubs.
  7. Obviously not a fan, given his Knob End / Dingle connections, but listened to David Unsworth tonight on Radio Lancashire. He said that he felt like driving down to Brockhall and physically shaking the Rovers players as they had thrown away the chance to get the club promoted and really needed to take a good look at themselves after not dealing with Eustace leaving. He questioned how the senior players had let it happen and questioned the mentality of them, faced with adversity they should have been fired up. I have to agree with him, very few real leaders and I definitely include the skipper, Travis in that category.
  8. That is ridiculously early, this season won’t even have finished.
  9. As of a week or so back, I heard the same.
  10. That’s the worry, we have had a go again but it just seems to blow over and we struggle to maintain momentum. It will all be back to business as usual for the three stooges now and the idiots in Pune are probably blissfully unaware. It will be the financial ST disaster pending which might be something they can’t ignore !
  11. Great keeper, so calm and reliable apart from that fatal day at Selhurst Park in May 1989.
  12. Kaminiski is far better than Pears, Walton, Wahlsted and likely Toth as well but I was never totally convinced with him. Couldn’t hold a candle to Sir Roger, Jim Arnold or Terry Gennoe.
  13. He’s not called Lucky Jim MK2 for nothing. Good man, Jim, delighted you have finally had some reward for your efforts and perseverance.
  14. The first ever Manager to lead us to a league victory at Kenilworth Road, something for him to dine out on !
  15. Another one, whose actions would have Jack turning in his grave !
  16. Kills me to say it but think you are probably right. Ignoring the three stooges and the manager, this team is full of spineless ‘rubber dinghy’ men. Where is the professional pride 😡
  17. Or the long-term stay aways boycotting and the more recent and very reluctant NAPM converts.
  18. What billionaire owners are generally for unless they are from Pune and just prefer to enjoy executing the slow and painful death of a once proud football club !
  19. 43 years a ST holder but enough is enough. I think many like me are now feeling the same way. It will hurt but it is for the greater good and the only way we get our club back and that is why, I think the personal emotional pull needs to be pushed aside.
  20. He’s not a quitter, will give him that. Will lie and bullshit until his very last breath !
  21. Others have a much better knowledge and feel for FFP. However, I am reliably advised that the club were in an absolutely fantastic / never to be matched position to really have a go for promotion, unfettered by FFP restrictions, this season, especially in the window just gone.
  22. Jack would be turning in his grave, his kids and family sold him out.
