  1. It is pretty much already 50%, little over 6,000 home supporters today for a Saturday 3pm kick off.
  2. Maybe in some of us, Matty but certainly not Goozburger !
  3. Strewth, he’s back again with who would buy Blackburn Rovers. The same day, confirmed big money investment interest in Preston and we see little old Wrexham scoring two late goals to further cement their credentials for a place at the top table.
  4. Thoughts and prayers with you and the family, Glen and hopefully, they will pull through.
  5. The police numbers don’t lie, thousands stayed away and to my mind, it has been extremely well observed.
  6. Where are you getting your numbers from, 25% would be of concern but basis the police number, it is more like 50% ! 6,000 home support against a normal Saturday 1500 kick off core of 12,000.
  7. Thousands stayed away ! You might call that pointless, I call it making a point and a start to saving our club from 15 years of neglect.
  8. The real count number is within this or match day thread, the boycotting number is significantly more than what you’re suggesting. My guess is circa 50% of the remnant core support stayed away, so 5,000 / 6,000, that is significantly more than I had hoped, enough is enough !
  9. My guess is that 50% of the remnant core Rovers support decided to vote with their feet, enough is enough !
  10. Not sure how anyone can even try to suggest that the boycott hasn’t been successful ! 7,600 for a Saturday 3PM fixture, including 1,000 Watford and 500 free to schools. Suggests probably 50% of our core support stayed away and made their point, enough is enough.
  11. I said this the other week, I really hate Gallagher as a pundit. Chalk and cheese with Paul Gallagher who gave excellent insight and was pretty much spot on with his commentary, punditry and in highlighting his concerns about Rovers.
  12. Yep, absolute bellend, saying he thought we would get to mid table ! These people just don’t deserve the air time, a bumbling idiot !
  13. He’s had the odd decent game but in truth, across a season and a half, he’s been pretty dam poor.
  14. There were also thousands still at the Wednesday match. We will never get everyone out but it was a start and thousands voted with their feet, including me and I won’t be told that sacrifice was pointless, if nothing else it should uphold one’s self respect.
  15. Looking at the ground, thousands stayed away and did their bit !
  16. Yuki’s finishing has been nothing short of woeful this season. Yes, he puts a shift in but he’s failing week in and week out to put the ball in the net !
  17. Listening on the radio due to the boycott, it sounds like the normal fare, another woeful performance.
  18. Behind again, sounds like dross again !
  19. From those pictures, and despite the very low recent gates, it is clear that the boycott has been pretty effective, looks very, very sparse.
  20. If he must, tell her he is off to match and then spend the afternoon down the pub !
  21. Yep, we always concede late goals and very rarely does the the unbridled joy of a late and important equaliser, or god forbid a winner, break out amongst our fans.
  22. Stay firm, it is one game, we must take our chance today to make a stand, enough is enough ! Go and see you Dad or take him out for a pint or Sunday lunch instead. Rovers fans have had their self respect destroyed, making a stand today at least helps restore this, you will have done your bit.
  23. I always find it amazing how they always manage to get facts wrong, isn’t checking the facts and proof reading part of the gig ! Suhail turned up in 2024, no he didn’t ! He’s been here and instrumental in their dereliction of duty, since the day that they first darkened our door some 15 years ago.
  24. Bloody hell Jim mk2, do you really need to ask. I want them out of my club and maybe the boycott won’t achieve that but if nothing else, I just want the opportunity to try and change things and show my utter contempt of what they have done to my club.
  25. And then negotiations would have been led by Swag and Broughton and so if we were bad then, just imagine what we will be like now ! Unfortunately, they still managed to get that one across the line, depriving us of seeing a generational talent in his beloved blue and white for a while longer.
