  1. I’m not ashamed to say that I really wanted him to get the gig when JDT got it. Ok, it went tits up at QPR but he worked miracles at Wycombe.
  2. At least we know that he would die trying as he is Rovers, through and through.
  3. A great summary of candidates.
  4. Strewth, worse of the lot, listening to his Scouse excuses after every match would be worse than the Curmudgeon Teesider.
  5. I agree, the only way we win this is by total boycott, no ST sales and no match day attendance until they are gone. With thousands travelling away to show our support and outside Ewood on match days.
  6. I am really saddened by Eustace leaving, they had different ways but both JDT and Eustace were really good, young and aspirational managers. Statistically at least, we are currently in exactly the same free-fall form as when JDT left 12 months ago, 3 wins in twelve.
  7. Everyone passionate about our club understands the background and where the real blame lies but, I agree, no one comes out of this well.
  8. Sport on, couldn’t agree more. The sooner the spotlight and heat is turned on Suhail Pasha, the sooner we have a chance of ridding him and his paymasters from our club.
  9. Can you let us know what time Henry W’s weekend slot is ?
  10. Good listen, Ian and Rich Sharpe coming across well and in line with the Rovers supporter base. Mickey Delap seems happy enough and that we have a wonderful opportunity to look to the future, wake up and smell the coffee, lad !
  11. I hope not but I can’t see anything other than a comprehensive home win. My real worry is that feelings could run so high, that we potentially see a Le Saux / Batty scenario unfold with everyone blaming each other.
  12. Only if they pay him off in full, which of course defeats the object. Very strange decision.
  13. But he isn’t off the wage bill, still at least a month from being fit.
  14. If they are interested in representing the views of the Rovers fan base, they best not hold any prisoners and go straight for the Venky / Pasha throat.
  15. Come on, where the fuck is the Trust when this shit is going on at our club. You need a statement out tonight demanding that they sell the club and formal declaration of a vote of no confidence in Pasha and Swag.
  16. Do they think we are fucking stupid. This really needs to stop now, we just can’t put up with it anymore. Significant investment, who are they trying to kid. Pasha and Swag need hounding out of the club now and Venkys to follow as soon as possible.
  17. Going to be very interesting to hear what comes out from Swag / Pasha, no one is falling for the family / location line. Twice in 12 months, you have driven young aspirational managers away and we have had enough. Fuck you and Venkys.
  18. I understand what you say, Jim but the truth is that if we all stayed away from Ewood, that is likely the only thing that would see the end of them.
  19. I get both sides to this one, damned if you do and damned if you don’t, this is where the Indians have taken our club and supporter base. Venkys Out
  20. He was talking generically from his perspective of being a former owner of a football club and as always to provide a contrarian viewpoint. He knows absolutely nothing about the detailed background of the last 15 years at Blackburn Rovers.
  21. He’s a twat, all they need to do is ask the long suffering Blackburn Rovers supporters, we know ! It is us who have suffered 15 years of this ownership and you would struggle to find one who would have any malice towards JDT or Eustace.
  22. I have had a ST for over 40 years and I still go on, mainly out of a sense of duty and deemed obligation. I feel like if I don’t go, who the hell will and rather than the few thousand we have left, there will be virtually no one there and that then feels shameful, something as a town, to be embarrassed about. It hurts to be in a half empty stadium with away fans taking the piss out of support when I know that it once was different, with the stadium vibrant and the support loud and proud. Notwithstanding this, I would happily forego my ST and stay away from the club I love, if it could deliver the end of this horrendous Indian blight on our club. We are all rightly proud of our club’s long and illustrious history but I have now reached the sad conclusion that even a Phoenix Blackburn Rovers is better than the Blackburn Rovers that we have suffered for the last 15 years.
  23. He did us over, at least Phillips had the decency to gave us a little bit back.
  24. I’ve always vowed never to join Facebook but for this, I would !
  25. No idea, but just like the previous efforts, I will be there.
