Obviously don’t know you personally Carl but often read your posts and it is clear that your love of the club and loathing for the stooges and incompetents running our club runs deep. As such, it is so sad to read your latest post but it really hits a chord with me, I am attending out of duty and the enjoyment and enthusiasm has long gone. If me and you are feeling that way, no wonder the supporter base is almost dead and buried, Ewood is empty and the atmosphere morgue like with any home advantage conceded. Imagine being a player in the blue and white and trying to perform in such an atmosphere, I feel sorry for the players but more so for the remaining fan base as our club feels like it is on life support. If it would rid of us the Venkys, I would take relegation in our 150th year, in a heart beat.

It is like their work won’t be complete until our club has been totally and utterly destroyed and Ewood lies in abandoned ruins. A glorious history and systematically dismantled and destroyed within 16 long years, an utter disgrace.

Must admit, it is a struggle to think of another two we might finish ahead of ☹️

Yep, couldn’t agree more with that summary. Absolutely desperate for a win midweek or Saturday but I am struggling to see where the goals are going to come from. Yuki has the one deflection at Hull and Gudjonson is now a few games in without hitting the net and in my experience, any decent striker usually scores on debut or very soon thereafter. If not, confidence dips and deserts them and always seems to end badly and so the lack of goals from strikers is a real worry.

Yep, I fear they will now be confident and motivated and will likely win at Ewood. At the end of this run of fixtures, likely we will be almost rock bottom and in for a long and probably futile battle against relegation. Fuck off Venkys.

Just watched the Oxford / Derby match and Eustace’s team were absolutely woeful. Looks like a relegation six pointer as well as the 150th anniversary game, likely to be a really toxic atmosphere.

I know it feels highly unlikely but statistically at least we are long overdue a win at Coventry 🙏

They are just absolutely clueless ! They are setting this once great club and what is left of its weary and beaten supporter base, up for further and complete ridicule from the football world. It is the single most crazy idea that the idiots have come up with in the 15 long years of our domestic slavery to the foreign occupiers, totally shameful. Where can we view these, Glen ? I’m a Trust Member and wholeheartedly support the aims and actions of the coalition but not seen anything on recent statements and so, perhaps they not getting the real circulation oxygen that is undoubtedly needed.

That run of fixtures fills me with dread and emphasises the desperate need for a minimum 4 point from these two home fixtures. Until yesterday, I have been relatively happy with a few of the performances, Hull, Ipswich and Watford especially and also thought we were ok against Norwich and B’ham. However, aside from the Hull match which was a real outlier, the concern is that we are just not creating any real chances. As well as we competed against Ipswich, we didn’t look like scoring until the penalty and aside from a lucky one against Hull, Yuki has hardly had a sniff of goal and that is a real worry ! If this run of fixtures goes as badly as I fear it could, fragile confidence and morale would disintegrate and we would then be looking at a real relegation battle.

Well, the transfer window might be closed but one thing this club desperately needs is to sign up a competent CEO.

I’m not suggesting that they have maliciously favoured one club or made a decision to appease a certain manager. They have simply made a decision that is clearly wrong to all that would support the only outcome that would be fair to both teams, and all teams competing in the EFL Championship this season.

There is no comparable. They have ultimate flexibility to consider circumstances and they should be prioritising fairness and transparency. The decision and EFL have been found sadly lacking.

Yes, we are not what we were as a result of the Indians and the fact that our fan base, infrastructure and spirit has been decimated by 16 years of neglect. However, I refuse to believe that Ipswich Town are a bigger club.

Frankly, the EFL decision is an absolute scandal. This decision should not be about finance or logistics or precedent, just about transparency and fairness and only restarting the game and playing it out from the point of abandonment satisfies that criteria.

Of course we would want a full replay but I don’t think anyone with any common sense or decency would be disappointed if the game was restarted and finished from the salient point of abandonment. The only sensible and equitable solution but one ignored by the EFL, fucking ridiculous.

Then play the last 10 minutes and stoppage time out, 11 v 10 and the resultant outcome removes any uncertainty.
