  1. Free digs provided, with Egyptian food on tap 😊
  2. If he gets signed and the paperwork is properly processed, by deadline 😊
  3. Going to fit in brilliantly with Hedges and Dolan 😊
  4. Critical in getting Reading promoted from this league.
  5. Looks like Dave Jones, if folks can remember the old Radio Lancashire sports editor, covered the Full Members Final in 1987.
  6. Fair enough but he is playing for Nantes, and isn’t getting on the pitch. Reported that Monza might be interested, again hardly a sleeping giant !
  7. I know nothing about this chap. Why shouldn’t we be in a position to sign him (Swag/Suhail aside). Nantes are hardly a European, even French, super-power and he isn’t even getting a game in Brittany !
  8. I was worried, the BRFCS management had moved to the dark side with a news blackout 😂
  9. We have no idea whether he is worth £8,000, £800,000 or £8M ! A total unknown and almost certainly not what Eustace asked them for 🤷‍♂️
  10. Only believe it, if Madon confirms it 😊
  11. Something to cheer us up at least, the return of Mercerman. Where have you been, fella ? The Board has missed your confident predictions of easy wins and your Ribble Valley wining and dining on the winnings 😊 Welcome back and now please announce Akor Adams……… 😂
  12. High praise indeed, Tony Field was a magician.
  13. The summer window, judge it when closed but sooner, is always better to ensure a full pre-season, squad, team cohesion and time for player to settle in. The January window, when well placed and with so many points to be won or, in our case, lost during the month needed action and players in from week one.
  14. Sir Roger, Jim Arnold, Terry Gennoe, all a class apart from a lot of the modern keepers.
  15. Two goals this season, flatters to deceive, never delivers and basically not good enough.
  16. I saw him play virtually every one of his early games, especially remember Utd at home when Bhartez should have been sent off and he could have had a hatrick but for the woodwork and a bit of luck. I might be wrong but I seem to think that Ipswich away was an early game and again he looked to have real ability but it just didn’t go for him. Over the years, I’ve have met a number of Genoa fans who would tell you what a good player he was.
  17. I agree that he never got a chance, as with all strikers an early goal is critical. I think he hit the post at Hull on his debut and then there was the late one that he should have buried at St Andrews. It rarely goes well for a striker if they fail to find the net early on, Grabbi had a lot of talent and was very unlucky early on and his confidence just couldn’t deal with it.
  18. Quite rightly with regard to some players but I think Tony’s reporting from Ashton Gate, was to a chap who actually wore the shirt and that to me, is much more fitting.
  19. Whatever you want to call it, you are certainly a loan wolf and totally out of kilter with everyone else on this messageboard.
  20. We will be doing really well to be awarding caps to players from that season, and many thereafter.
  21. It is free country, we can stand and raise our concerns, silently, verbally, through numbers and placards and without breaking the law.
  22. Go for it, fella, about time all on the Indian continent know what the Pune virus has done to a small town in Lancashire and one of the country’s most historic football clubs. Ruined an institution, depressed a populace and lied about protecting the legacy of a proper local benefactor and in doing so, bringing shame on Pune and India.
  23. Spot on, I agree so much, I couldn’t have written it myself.
