A real problem if Alebiosu goes to African Nations or gets injured. -

Corrado Grabbi had loads of ability, fantastic in his first few matches but as the luck deserted him, so did his confidence and that proved fatal. He could have had a hatrick in that early match against United, think he hit the woodwork twice. -

Couldn’t agree more and made this point many times. They prefer to play away, at Ewood the atmosphere is so funereal it is the clearest manifestation of what these owners have done to this club and its remnant and downtrodden supporter base. All a far cry from the loud and passionate cauldron that even the top teams feared playing here. Today, rather than being the twelfth man, they must feel like they are playing with ten at home. Of course, it is all very much the chicken and the egg and if the club was run properly and we could put performances and results together, ‘Rome’ could once again be rebuilt. -

Neither keeper had a save of note to make today ! Unfortunately, we still conceded two goals. -

I think it will be that incident. I was in JWL and clearly saw the handball and thought it was a penalty but I’m told TV confirmed it was outside the box. The ref somehow missed it completely as not even a free kick given. -

Like with Tronstad, think you’re a real outlier on this. He played really well midweek and was our best player today. -

Thought Hedges was our best player today, by some distance. Think he has a future as a decent LWB. -

I was staggered with that, I was expecting 6 or 7 as a minimum. The penalty must have been 3 minutes stoppage at least. -

Really disappointing today after 3 good wins. Obviously, the injuries are a real blow but we played into Derby’s hands, far too pasif, slow and laboured in the first half and then conceded two really poor goals. Second half was a little better but we could have played until Christmas and still not scored from open player, we just have no offensive creativity or threat when needing to break down a resolute defence. The least said about our non existent threat from set pieces and long throws the better, we simply never make first contact and how Gueye didn’t manage to get a shot in on the Derby goal at the death, simply abject. -

Hedges played really well, I think both him and De Neve are really decent options a LWB. Some really good performances tonight but thought Miller played really well. -
The one thing that is certain is that the Derby match is the designated 150th anniversary match for our club. The best protest that we could make against the 15 year Venky period is to pack Ewood Park for the fixture. Let’s show that our club still matters, that we are proud of 135 years of its history and that the club is in our blood, notwithstanding that thousands of fans are boycotting or laying dormant or have just given up after a 15 year struggle. That is my dearest hope but having just looked at available tickets, it looks like this anniversary will be largely ignored by the missing thousands and that will be a great shame and an opportunity missed to show the potential of this once great club. It is just one game, why can’t the NAPM and the missing thousands turn up to show solidarity and pride in the glorious history of our club. If they did, that would deliver the biggest and loudest message to the Venkys, ‘this is our club and we want you gone’.

Lancashire Telegraph BANNED.

I thought with the Elliott / LT ban that there would be some fightback from the paper. I had hoped that this would give them the conviction to unleash historical and current day stones that could be thrown at the club, shine a spotlight on everything wrong with our club and align with the downtrodden supporter base in the battle to save our once great club. -

He works hard, seems to have a bit of pace and whilst he needs to work on the crossing, yesterday he presented decent chances for Yuki with 2 or 3 excellent balls put in. Think there may be more to come from him and to my mind, both the wing backs look promising. -
Like Sir Roger and Jim Arnold before him, Gennoe was a great keeper for the Rovers. He was pretty unflappable but unfortunately, like most of his teammates, he had a bad case of the jitters in May 1989 at Selhurst Park. That day really hurt and still does, I hate it every time I hear Glad All Over played and pains me that we basically forced Adam to sign up for them.

A good listen. I’ve said it before and say it again, you have the happiest disposition of any Rovers fan that I’ve met for many years. Every respect for you in managing to remain so upbeat and jovial, I know it would be well beyond me. I think if most Rovers fans got 10 minutes on Talksport, the presenters would be cutting it short and going home to slit their wrists 😂 -

A proper promotion of the club, illustrating its historic role in the game and book ending it with Netflix’s ‘The English Game’ should have American billionaires lining up. No doubt in my mind that the Hollywood idols wouldn’t have looked twice at Wrexham, had they known the cut above and beautiful girl in Lancashire was available to save ! -

Obviously don’t know you personally Carl but often read your posts and it is clear that your love of the club and loathing for the stooges and incompetents running our club runs deep. As such, it is so sad to read your latest post but it really hits a chord with me, I am attending out of duty and the enjoyment and enthusiasm has long gone. If me and you are feeling that way, no wonder the supporter base is almost dead and buried, Ewood is empty and the atmosphere morgue like with any home advantage conceded. Imagine being a player in the blue and white and trying to perform in such an atmosphere, I feel sorry for the players but more so for the remaining fan base as our club feels like it is on life support. If it would rid of us the Venkys, I would take relegation in our 150th year, in a heart beat.
