The one thing that is certain is that the Derby match is the designated 150th anniversary match for our club. The best protest that we could make against the 15 year Venky period is to pack Ewood Park for the fixture. Let’s show that our club still matters, that we are proud of 135 years of its history and that the club is in our blood, notwithstanding that thousands of fans are boycotting or laying dormant or have just given up after a 15 year struggle. That is my dearest hope but having just looked at available tickets, it looks like this anniversary will be largely ignored by the missing thousands and that will be a great shame and an opportunity missed to show the potential of this once great club. It is just one game, why can’t the NAPM and the missing thousands turn up to show solidarity and pride in the glorious history of our club. If they did, that would deliver the biggest and loudest message to the Venkys, ‘this is our club and we want you gone’.

I thought with the Elliott / LT ban that there would be some fightback from the paper. I had hoped that this would give them the conviction to unleash historical and current day stones that could be thrown at the club, shine a spotlight on everything wrong with our club and align with the downtrodden supporter base in the battle to save our once great club. -

He works hard, seems to have a bit of pace and whilst he needs to work on the crossing, yesterday he presented decent chances for Yuki with 2 or 3 excellent balls put in. Think there may be more to come from him and to my mind, both the wing backs look promising. -
Like Sir Roger and Jim Arnold before him, Gennoe was a great keeper for the Rovers. He was pretty unflappable but unfortunately, like most of his teammates, he had a bad case of the jitters in May 1989 at Selhurst Park. That day really hurt and still does, I hate it every time I hear Glad All Over played and pains me that we basically forced Adam to sign up for them.

A good listen. I’ve said it before and say it again, you have the happiest disposition of any Rovers fan that I’ve met for many years. Every respect for you in managing to remain so upbeat and jovial, I know it would be well beyond me. I think if most Rovers fans got 10 minutes on Talksport, the presenters would be cutting it short and going home to slit their wrists 😂 -

A proper promotion of the club, illustrating its historic role in the game and book ending it with Netflix’s ‘The English Game’ should have American billionaires lining up. No doubt in my mind that the Hollywood idols wouldn’t have looked twice at Wrexham, had they known the cut above and beautiful girl in Lancashire was available to save ! -

Preston doing what we haven’t been able to do for many a year, coming back from 0 2 to lead Sheffield 3 2. Has there ever been a worse time to support our team 😞 -

Obviously don’t know you personally Carl but often read your posts and it is clear that your love of the club and loathing for the stooges and incompetents running our club runs deep. As such, it is so sad to read your latest post but it really hits a chord with me, I am attending out of duty and the enjoyment and enthusiasm has long gone. If me and you are feeling that way, no wonder the supporter base is almost dead and buried, Ewood is empty and the atmosphere morgue like with any home advantage conceded. Imagine being a player in the blue and white and trying to perform in such an atmosphere, I feel sorry for the players but more so for the remaining fan base as our club feels like it is on life support. If it would rid of us the Venkys, I would take relegation in our 150th year, in a heart beat. -

Yep, couldn’t agree more with that summary. Absolutely desperate for a win midweek or Saturday but I am struggling to see where the goals are going to come from. Yuki has the one deflection at Hull and Gudjonson is now a few games in without hitting the net and in my experience, any decent striker usually scores on debut or very soon thereafter. If not, confidence dips and deserts them and always seems to end badly and so the lack of goals from strikers is a real worry. -

Yep, I fear they will now be confident and motivated and will likely win at Ewood. At the end of this run of fixtures, likely we will be almost rock bottom and in for a long and probably futile battle against relegation. Fuck off Venkys. -

Just watched the Oxford / Derby match and Eustace’s team were absolutely woeful. Looks like a relegation six pointer as well as the 150th anniversary game, likely to be a really toxic atmosphere. -

I know it feels highly unlikely but statistically at least we are long overdue a win at Coventry 🙏 -
They are just absolutely clueless ! They are setting this once great club and what is left of its weary and beaten supporter base, up for further and complete ridicule from the football world. It is the single most crazy idea that the idiots have come up with in the 15 long years of our domestic slavery to the foreign occupiers, totally shameful. It will be an absolute unmitigated disaster and the fools and idiots behind this, must be the only ones who don’t see it 🙈😞

That run of fixtures fills me with dread and emphasises the desperate need for a minimum 4 point from these two home fixtures. Until yesterday, I have been relatively happy with a few of the performances, Hull, Ipswich and Watford especially and also thought we were ok against Norwich and B’ham. However, aside from the Hull match which was a real outlier, the concern is that we are just not creating any real chances. As well as we competed against Ipswich, we didn’t look like scoring until the penalty and aside from a lucky one against Hull, Yuki has hardly had a sniff of goal and that is a real worry ! If this run of fixtures goes as badly as I fear it could, fragile confidence and morale would disintegrate and we would then be looking at a real relegation battle.
