  1. He clearly pushed him in the back, never a clearer penalty
  2. If the Manager’s / Club’s specific instructions were to not put the ball in the opposition net, under any circumstances, I don’t think we could be any less threatening ! More especially at 2 0 down with nothing to lose, really is shameful !
  3. Third time that I’ve seen Ipswich play this season and not impressed at all. They have done very little against a very poor team, which has conspired to throw this away within the first 10 minutes !
  4. They should be given the vast amount of money and wages invested by the US owners. They seem to be making their way up the league, which in my opinion is probably the weakest for a very long time, but we have played them twice already and were the better team on both occasions. Notwithstanding this, our record at Portman Road is lamentable, think Kenilworth Road returns, and so I expect we could well get a reet hiding today 🙈
  5. Likely to be plenty of shots on target from the Tractor Boys XI.
  6. Is he not banned from Brockhall STC 🤷‍♂️
  7. It is about time the LT provided an update on TelegraphGate. It seems beyond ridiculous that we went through all this blowing up, the club withdrawing cooperation and banning EJ from Ewood and Brockhall and the LT backing their man and yet months later, there has been no reported rapprochement and no action or clear response from the LT !
  8. I’ve just had a read and see that some of this parish have joined to try and reason with them. It makes depressing reading and just sums up the term, ‘the enemy within’ ! Some names well known from earlier days on this Board but sadly, they seem to have lost the plot entirely and almost seem to be relishing the decline and slow death of this once great club. They totally ignore the exponential growth of football during the last couple of decades, both financially and attendance perspective and haven’t noticed that just about the only outlier of this trend, is our club ! They seem to bask in our demise and have convinced themselves that without Venkys, we wouldn’t survive as there would be no suitors for our famous club ! Given evidence of the seemingly unbounded desire of the rich and powerful to own football clubs, I just don’t believe it. Wrexham and now, Lincoln City say hello 👋
  9. For all those Venky apologists whose go to refrain is ‘ who would be interested in Blackburn Rovers’, a US Baseball billionaire is about to take a controlling share of Lincoln City ! Support the boycott.
  10. Can’t be Akor Adams as he’s at Afcom 😂
  11. The owners are on record, repeatedly, that the club is not for sale. No wonder that buyers aren’t lining up !
  12. Still not go over him ballooning that ‘winning’ volley over the bar against the Dingles 🙈
  13. Well done for showing her the 💡
  14. Pretty sure this lad was mentioned in the summer or in a previous window, definitely been linked before.
  15. Yep, Carl Leaburn’s lad, his name was mentioned a number of times on here over the last couple of years as being the sort we needed who could have been plucked from League 1 at a small investment price. As always, missed the boat !
  16. That be Abbey. Remember him well from the 80’s travelling days, a passionate Rovers man who could take no more.
  17. I’m with you all the way on the Watford boycott, I’ll put the ST away and resist the urge to go down. I just wish that more of my fellow ST holders would do likewise, we need to make a stand and a point, it is just one game and the future of our club is at stake, please support the boycott.
  18. Do you think he has got the wrong Gueye 😊
  19. Ok, let’s rephrase it, we were paying three but the Manager didn’t fancy one of them !
  20. Well, we had three but one is now on his way to China after the manager chose not to play him, even when Gudjonsen got injured.
  21. I’m not too bothered about today’s result as we have more pressing issues, like staying in the Championship. I thought the young lads gave their best and most came out with quite a bit of credit. The one thing that I didn’t want to see today was Yuki anywhere near the football pitch, indeed anywhere near Hull. The lad desperately needs a break and madness not to give him the opportunity today. To cap it all, he couldn’t even convert a spot kick and so his already low confidence will have no doubt taken a further hammer blow.
  22. Not sure what anyone else thinks but I really don’t like Kevin Gallagher as a commentator, more especially on his summary punditry before and after games. I contrast him to Paul Gallagher, who I think is really good, talks a great deal of sense but was more often doing Knob End. He’s now taken on the Barrow manager’s job and I wish him the best of luck.
  23. Actually I just checked and it was only a loan at Zaragoza. However, I still think a player and agent know their relative market / value and with strikers, there is always a premium.
  24. Also I think Gueye had a spell in Spain at Real Zaragoza. It might not have gone too well but they signed him for a fee and will have no doubt paid decent wages.
  25. Hence the quote marks ‘big’, in the Pasha / Gestede / Venky run husk of our beloved and once proud and famous Blackburn Rovers.
