It is shit or bust for our football club. There is absolutely no point considering any coach / managerial appointment beyond the end of the season. We need to offer remuneration at £1m per annum, pro rata and a £1m promotion bonus. This provides attractive opportunity and financial incentive and then everything else is up for renegotiation in the summer. This way everything is focussed on the short term and both club and coach have options thereafter. There is no other sensible option, how will ST’s sell if we appoint a HC / Manager now who goes on to lose the majority of our remaining games ? Player trading and renewals will be dependent on the outcome of this season, the future of the club is dependent on the outcome of this season ! There can be no long term decisions made at this juncture, 12 games, shit or bust !

Whilst I know that behind the scenes we are an absolute shit-show, I don’t believe for one minute that they travelled down on the day.

I thought he was poor as well but better than almost all his teammates, everyone bar none, was dogshit. For me, Ribeiro and Forshaw were our ‘better’ performers, it was that bad !

I think he would probably be keen and would like the job for a number of reasons but moving back to the U.K. before end of current tax year will probably cost him millions from his tax free Saudi earnings / severance. For that reason alone, I think it is a total non runner.

Also reported that Pasha / Swag heading to London for second stage interviews after initial round conducted on Zoom. Why, they are candidates for the role of Head Coach / Manager, Blackburn Rovers so why on earth are they not making the journey up to Ewood / Brockhall !

Be nice to have Duffer back in Hurst Green and he would be working with his Academy and first team contemporary, Damian Johnson.

And not the chap to galvanise this squad for a 13 match promotion push. It will take him a month to know the players names and for them to know him !

I really can’t see a German manager galvanising this team for a 13 game promotion push.

I was told allocation was 2,800 but a chap picking tickets up at same time reckoned that we could get up up to 5,000.

I was picking my Swansea tickets up yesterday and he said 1,500 Derby tickets sold yesterday.

I agree, it is either that or give it to Lowe / Johnson for the final 13, if we keep winning.

I don’t believe for one minute that George Boateng will get the HC job. If he does, then Pasha / Swag aren’t going to know what hits them as will be seen as deliberate and transparent ploy to totally derail play off / promotion opportunity, they just aren’t that stupid !

Strewth, surely you kept him as a contact? If it was me, I would have been harassing him ever since whilst trying to get to Pasha and the owners !

The risk is they don’t appoint a GOOD Head Coach.

Whilst we are winning and the players performing for Lowe / Johnson or just for themselves, why change it ? It is a real worry that someone coming into the club with no knowledge or relationship with the players is a massive risk.

Me neither, that was a real bitter pill, the goalkeeper punching the ball in on 90+4 and the officials ‘missing’ it. Then the indignity of Robins and the Cov bench celebrating after clearly robbing us.

I think Lowe has purposely held back the Kargbo and Dennis pace to stretch the game when teams get tired. I think we might have been better going for it from the off but I think that would be his logic, let’s hope it works.

Maybe a draw then, won’t help either team hugely.
