Erm, I replied to a post about Brereton.

I just don’t think GB was good enough rather than deliberately trying to not get promoted. Over-cautious, summed up by Lowe being the lynchpin in the side. If he had got Rovers promoted he’d have had other job offers.

Fair. Is he actually injured though? To not even be on the bench? (Genuinely don’t know).

Did not a lot. Handful of first time passes, mainly backward. I agree though that Nuttall should have played him in though. This is what Mowbray has created though. Competition with three players for one position, and lots of uncertainty about whether your current game could be your last for a while. He’s probably thinks that as soon as Brereton scores he will be dropped. Again.

You seriously picking out Travis after that debacle? He seemed to be doing very well until Dack and Graham went off and Mowbray changed his game plan. Presumably you’ll be wanting Smallwood back in the side. Travis is one problem fixed. We have other areas to worry about more.

Need to start calling him Mowray. Humiliation today. Our first XI is great, our squad isn’t and we have a manager who doesn’t have any tactical nous. My big worry was injuries - I’ve complained about it all January and we’ve had 4 in one game with our captain already out. Gutted.

And yet we didn’t bring in any better players in the window! 5 now. Absolute embarrassment.

We have nobody on the pitch who can put their foot on the ball, except for Rodwell. Rothwell should have come on for Dack. Meanwhile Mowbray will bemoan the loss of three players. We’ve just had a month to recruit and we still don’t have good enough players on the bench.

Absolutely hopeless this second half. A dirty Brentford side, a weak homer referee, three injuries and a manager with no Plan B.
