  1. There are two players between Glenn Keeley and Paul Round but only Tim Parkin is named, who is the missing player?
  2. Usually the same names doing the rounds on X formerly Twitter
  3. We all know the politics, today is all about the football. Today we support the team, we ignore the disease and enjoy living the dream. Rovers Til I Die!!! Come on you blues!
  4. Bristol City only two points in front so if they lose then we as we are, there will be two places still technically available
  5. Which ever way he played as an attacker rather than central midfield. JDT, Eustace and Ismael have played him centrally and look at the results, he cant play that position
  6. It is quite simple, if he was a yard or two quicker he would playing a lot higher up the pyramid.
  7. Thats the problem when you are over relient on your starting XI. Same could be said of Travis and Britain
  8. Correct he is just as poor in either position. So could Dennis. Im sorry Woodrow to me offers very little
  9. Same can be said for JRC. The drift into midfield from full back was ideal as he does not know to stay in position when playing a set position of full back or central midfield
  10. Problem is that he only continued the downward trajectory that already started, granted he accelerated it. Also he wasn't the only coach that hadn't won against promoted sides away. The ball stops above him but the coaches and players need to accept some responsibility
  11. Discovery is not the right word but Freedman moved when the opportunity came up and others didn't. From Palace's point of view Adam was a Freedman discovery
  12. Tronsdtat for me as he has played most games and of a constantly high std, if Brittain had a played a few more games then it may have been different
  13. Buckley's best football was under Mowbray when he played no.10 so could be on the bench instead of Woodrow. JRC's best football was as an inverted full back which would require a major change in football philosphy not just a change of formation when subbing a player. This might work if playing against one up front. I cannot see this happening under this coach so putting JRC on the bench is just waste as he a poor in a central two, defensively as a full back or put up against a full back out wide as a forward.
  14. Both have played the number 10 position. IMO Buckley's best football at Rovers when he played in that position
  15. I agree that Dolan is playing his best football presently so three things have crossed my mind. First is it because he has already agreed a move so the pressure is off and he can relax and play football or b the premier clubs he thinks would come in for haven't so he is trying to impress? or C especially after seeing him yesterday after the game that the coach has found a way to get him playing. If it is C, then we have to be wary as the coach average 50 games a job means giving Dolan a massive new contract means in another 40 games the very average Dolan may return as Valerian does his usual thing and is no longer at Rovers. Look what happened to JRC after JDT left
  16. Can either play centre half? No. So Sanderson has to be on the bench as Carter and Wharton both injured. Both players' position on the bench were probably taken by Montgomery and Tyjon rather than Dennis and Sanderson. Both players have played under several managers now and other than a short spells when played in certain positions neither has consistently played well. Forgot about Woodrow, so one of them can play that role so I grant you there was room for one of them
  17. Do you think so? Possibly at the time with JDT in charge but Eustace wanted experienced players so one or both of the two players would still would of been signed. Carter, Hyam then another experienced player would mean Phillips would have been third or fourth choice at best
  18. That maybe the case but he doesn't say that. He says he does not give a toss which entirely different argument
  19. Something went on at half time of the Wednesday game that saw a change in the players mentality that has been carried over. What that was we dont know but Id say the style of play hasn't changed a great deal from Eustace's day to be honest. Time will tell if this is prolonged or not
  20. Be careful to judge off one game. We can go back to the Middlesborough game to give you the total opposite view.
  21. I think it depends on if you think Philips would have played every game here if he stayed. Personally I dont think he would of so I think it would not a made a difference if he stayed or went as I think he'd played about the same number in the Championship here or away from here so it is irrelevent but because he will get a better exposure to the International Set up linked to a 'top' six side than being registered to a Championship side.
  22. I dont think it is odd. I know people on here think it is a forgone conclusion that the majority of the fanbase think that the club is rotten to the core but you need to ask yourselves why the protests aren't gaining traction. I think it is right that before the website throws its weight behind the coalition then it needs a mandate for its members. IMO all supporters have differing opinions. Chaddy takes a battering on here at times warrented other times not but it is good that we are not the same. It is good that it is not assumed that the members on here are of the same opinion.
  23. If you dont give a toss why come on here and tell us? Those who do give a toss dont need to know and others who dont give a toss are unlikely to be on this page so I can only imagine it is to wind people who give a toss up
