As was Steven Reid. As was Brett Emerton, most times, excluding the Wolves mauling. We are now reaping the rewards of being patient with these two guys and giving them TIME on the PITCH to adapt. Yet the two players you've mentioned have now proved themselves,, MG @#/? hasn't.

This is getting rediculous now. Has nobody else noticed- 1/ MGP was @#/? when he played in the first 2/3 games. 2/ We are FIVE games unbeaten, with our midfield playing excellently. But no, we're surely not playing him because of some clause that doesn't even exist.

Shearer was admittedly the guy who got all the goals, and we wouldn't have won the league without him. Sherwood was the main leader and most influencial midfielder, and we wouldn't have won the league without him. So apologies if Forrest was before my time, but again explain what he did for Rovers that equals captaining the team that won the biggest domestic prize around?

Sherwood played and captained the greatest Rovers team of modern times, as well as IMO being arguable Rovers most vital player during that season. Surely thats enough.
