  1. Anybody into the (English) Beats? Kinda gettin' into them through a song called 'Save It For Later.'
  2. One thing this thread has proven is what genuine mindless ###### Burnley fans are. Deleted
  3. Well I expect Everton to finish below Liverpool so they'll have to start losing soon. 1-0 Rovers me thinks, MGP probably.
  4. Click Me Burnley fans better? If you sat among 7000 people, of course you seem louder you fools.
  5. what time is his show? I am making it my one man mission to listen for a few weeks, note down every derogatory Burnley comment then make a BIG BIG complaint to the BBC about the misuse of licence money where a presenter is continually insulting the very licence payers he is supposed to represent. How incredibly petty it was to do that don't you think? Still, we expect no less. Talking of petty?
  6. The gulf closing? 4 years ago Rovers went up, and Burnley finished SEVENTH!!! You wont finish seventh this season, the truth is, you are clinging onto the hope of Rovers getting worse. Unfortunately for you, under the new regime, this isn't going to happen. Burnley were awful in both games. Rovers outplayed you in the first half, and BOTH teams were crap in the second..... SO WHAT ARE YOU SO HAPPY ABOUT?? The mind boggles.
  7. thats how long I think it will take our manager to get the squad together and ready I could be wrong of course - maybe we will do it next season Burnley will never ever ever get promoted. To get promoted you need a good team. You don't have a good team. To get a good team you need money. You have no money. And don't respond with info of your latest sales as we both know your financially in the sh*t.
  8. I voted Gav 'cos I'm a fan of British hooliganism. Up the riots.
  9. Hahahaha.... Derek and The Domino's are in the cd player at the moment... That version of Little Wing is soooooooooooo good.
  10. Well scene as it's you that time in the Sainsbury's car park....
  11. Rover6, are you ever going to change your signature.
  12. The Hughes being tactically inept I think we're answered today. Inexperienced yes, but atleast he doesn't have this ego pride like Souness and changed things. Dickov, 9 goals now, one less than Cole got in the whole of last season... Left back, Central Midefielder and a Striker (maybe two, Big Dunc on a free anyone?) in the summer please, and roll on next season.
  13. It would be flawed if Garner was in. Scored goals in divisions 2 and 3, Rovers second best ever striker? I'm 18, never saw most of the players play, so how and why could I vote for them? Let everyone vote for who they want and people stop whinging about it, it's pathetic, it's supposed to be a bit of fun.
  14. Must also go for Garner then... Banged the goals in when Rovers were gracing lower leagues, something Jansen could still do now. Jansen has played a more integral part to Rovers present and future than Garner has..... Uncle Jack would have come along if Garner wasn't around... I dread to think where Rovers would be now if Jansen hadn't banged all those goals in when we got promoted. The truth is Garner, if finishes second, is only there as he was a Blackburn End darling... Hardly had the impact Jansen, Sutton, and to a lesser extent Gallacher etc had. Eh?
  15. Rubbish. Football is no more about individual emotions than reading a newspaper on the bloody toilet is. Football is so obviously a communal experience that I can't even be bothered arguing the point. DEFINITELY NOT. How's that? In this case, Garner, Speedie etc etc I never saw play, so with my closed mind and all that, why the hell would I vote for them? Have they ever given me pleasure during my football watching life? No. I wish all you older lot would sod off and except that younger people couldn't care less about your manafesto's on all these older players, they've never touched us younger lot (thats what I meant by the individual emotion thing, perhaps worded it wrong) and it seems to you lot you have to have played atleast 10 years ago and be retired to be a 'great.' Open mindedness indeed.
  16. I'm going on Eddies theory. I don't care about everyone elses opinions on 'past greats,' football is about individual emotions, and since my first season as a Rovers season ticket holder, no strikers has given me more pleasure than Matt Jansen, Chris Sutton and Kevin Gallacher. (And Shearer who got my first vote) Out the three, I'd say Jansen was the most naturally talented, Gallacher the best finisher, but Chris Sutton the most effective. Overall though my vote goes for..... Matt Jansen. Would we have won the league without Gallacher/Sutton? Probably. Would we have won our first major cup final in god knows how long, or even be in the Premier League now without Matt Jansen? DEFINATELY NOT! If that doesn't deserve recognition as one of the greats, then so be it. I think it should do.
  17. Prso, your arguing technique rivals that of a 9 nine year old. Now argue on something your right on or (Please don't use that word again) off.
  18. Oh how MacDuff failed to become king on Wednesday night.
  19. Friedel Neill Todd Mokoena Johansson Flitcroft Emerton Tugay Savage Pedersen Dickov Thats my team.
