  1. and if games started in the 76th minute…
  2. Plymouth manager sacked
  3. Table excluding goals after 75 minutes…
  4. Hopefully you’re wrong - starting with today 🤞
  5. Which of our players do we think would do this? https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/68704147
  6. It’s the same with crosses.
  7. If Carlsberg did plot twists…
  8. Looking at the teams below us (excluding Rotherham) - since Eustace took over this mini table is as follow: Sheffield Wed - 8 played 13 points Huddersfield - 8 played 8 points Birmingham - 9 played 7 points Rovers - 9 played 6 points Plymouth 9 played 5 points Extrapolating that form to the end of the season produces: Sheffield Wednesday 47 points Huddersfield 47 points Rovers 46 points ——————————- Plymouth 45 points Birmingham 44 points Everything’s going to be fine, right??…
  9. Leicester are in ‘relative’ free fall. They’ve only gained 2 points more than us since Eustace took over (albeit from one fewer games)
  10. You don’t have to presume, you just have to look at how the Wharton sale went through but the McGuire purchase did not.
  11. I think we’ll only need one win. I worry that’s one more than we’ll get.
  12. I think with VAR the ref doesn’t disallow it and waits to see if he gets a voice in his ear. (This is obviously not the thread for this but one of my major issues with VAR is I think some refs now think ‘I’ll leave that decision for my mate with the tele’)
  13. It would be much simpler if we went back to someone either being offside or not with none of this phase of play/interfering with play nonsense.
  14. I’ve not seen the incident but the rule is clearly obstructs the opponents line of vision. I’m far from convinced that includes their peripheral vision.
  15. As shit as we are, maybe the authorities have decided an Ipswich promotion would be a good news story. *removes tinfoil hat*
  16. Peripheral vision isn’t ‘clearly obstructing the opponent’s line of vision’ which is how the law is worded.
  17. Tonali available for Newcastle next season? I wouldn’t bet on it… https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/68686129
  18. They’re right to punish Everton and Forest. They’re wrong not to punish the others you’ve mentioned. As to what’s the point - I’ve not a clue!!
  19. Jimmy Nail - Crocodile Shoes
  20. From that article… ’However, it would be a surprise if they stood in the way of a big move to a top club for the Irish ace’ The system is set up so we can’t stand in his way (and it stinks)
  21. Forest had two choices: Sell the player within the relevant accounting period for a fee which allowed them to comply with FFP regulations or Sell the player at a date of their choosing to try to maximise the fee (but in the knowledge this would mean them breaching FFP regulations) How can making a decision in the full knowledge this means you’ll be in breach of the rules possibly be a mitigation for that breach??
