  1. Nope, but I highly doubt all strikers with pace and the ability to hold up the ball would cost that much
  2. Let’s not push our luck too far!
  3. I’m shocked that the two Manchester teams have been kept apart…
  4. It’s not away it’s at Wembley (I’m sure you know this really!) Means their two loanees can’t play
  5. One with pace and holds the ball up would be nice. Oh and if he could score lots of goals too please 😀
  6. I thought the game had to be stopped for a suspected head injury Maybe @arbitro can clarify.
  7. You’re welcome! I’ve not listened but maybe it was a clumsy attempt at demonstrating how ‘succession planning’ is part of his job? Like you say though, don’t say anything unless asked (and possibly not even then)
  8. I’d say that is putting in effort - but at the wrong time
  9. Is it this one? https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m001kdw7
  10. Unfortunately we don’t have to imagine it
  11. Should that be part of Remy’s role?
  12. I agree on those two improvements - plus replacing Brereton and replacing/signing Thomas
  13. The interpretation has changed (your link) but the law already included a definition of handball (my earlier link) which didn’t include it having to be deliberate I’ll be making no further comment on this as I’m sure I’m boring everyone!
  14. I agree with your opinion, I think it’s a stupid law 🧐 change. I thought we were good too, just unlucky/let ourselves down in some key moments. As long as the manager/players don’t dwell on the disappointment I think we’ll have a good end to the season
  15. Them having three up front would have opened up spaces elsewhere. Our substitutions should have been either to exploit that or just to freshen things up
  16. No you can’t But he definitely influenced the match by not producing a second yellow for Robinson.
  17. I understand the upset part - but some of the reactions are still extreme. I think if we play like that for the rest of the season (well barring the last few minutes) we’ll be in the play offs
  18. The link to what I posted from - is that not the law? https://www.thefa.com/football-rules-governance/lawsandrules/laws/football-11-11/law-12---fouls-and-misconduct
  19. £450,000 for winning a quarter final, £500,000 for losing a semi final
  20. I’m absolutely certain he’s just angry - I prefer that to not caring, still needed pointing out though. For what’s it’s worth, I’d have brought Dolan on for a Gallagher at 2-1 and saved any further subs to ‘kill the game’ in the last five minutes
  21. However terms like ‘brutally sabotaged his own team’ are way OTT
  22. It is an offence if a player: - deliberately touches the ball with their hand/arm, for example moving the hand/arm towards the ball - touches the ball with their hand/arm when it has made their body unnaturally bigger. A player is considered to have made their body unnaturally bigger when the position of their hand/arm is not a consequence of, or justifiable by, the player’s body movement for that specific situation. By having their hand/arm in such a position, the player takes a risk of their hand/arm being hit by the ball and being penalised Second one applied today - no need to be deliberate (again I think it should be)
  23. Played well in general, change of system didn’t work and wasn’t necessary - ref was atrocious For me we need a ‘powerhouse’ midfielder and a (big) upgrade on Gallagher
