  1. Despite championing the food from the Bukhara many times on here (until they got found out for unacceptable hygiene failings ) I deem that given your uncle owns the restaurant your recommendation is hardly worth a light. I believe guideline 15 might apply...... 15. No unsolicited advertisingWhilst we do allow adverts of particular relevance to Rovers fans, all adverts must be submitted to admin for approval before posting. Note that adverts of no particular interest to Rovers fans, including adverts for other websites and businesses, are not permitted. Interested commercial advertisers should contact admin to discuss advertising options. Admin can be contacted via email at admin@brfcs.com
  2. I shant comment on your opoinion of Trott but you need to toughen up, grow up and man up and not be so touchy BWR. I dont know enough about cricket to give an opinion whether you are right or wrong but you should comfort yourself that 'Right is might' as they say. I'm quite different to you as I don't go throwing the racist card around willy nilly... thats for the weak minded imo, but according to more than a few on here I've been a 'snidey rascist' for over a decade now. Simply for suggesting a fire in a Blackburn building was decidedly dodgy and that a mosque would end up on the site pdq. I got sh1t from many sources and banned from posting for three months on the back of that too. For some reason if the word 'racism' is mentioned the weaker minded amongst us scatter like frightened mice. Dont know if you can recall the fire but if it helps it was on the where that effin big mosque on Leamington Road now stands. Oh and dont expect an apology if you are proven right cos you'll be waiting a long time.
  3. Interesting to see what opinion will be in store for goal line technology in football.
  4. 1. Thatcher's reign was notable for very many things, economic recovery, defeat of the communist agenda'd unions, Falklands etc. But Hillsborough? Come on. Hillsborough is hardly a stick to beat Thatcher with is it? Every successive govt held an inquiry / investigation of one sort or another with no real variation to the original. Not only that but after the 2012 verdict apologies were issued by David Cameron on behalf of the government, Ed Milliband on behalf of the Labour Party , Sheffield Wednesday , South Yorkshire Police, and Kelvin McKenzie. Whats your thoughts on the other two footballing disasters? Thatcher at fault for them was she?..... or as I suspect have you not heard of them? 2. DRS....Racism? FFS! Grow up.
  5. What an odd thing to say on such a good news day.......... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/10241869/Economic-recovery-underway-as-jobless-total-falls-by-4000.html Especially given that you weren't even born when Margaret Thatcher was PM. Oh and the second part of my sig is more appropriate for the likes of you.
  6. You were the one to start us all looking at the vulgar and unequal wealth distribution in India not me. However. "your" "our"...... potayto potahto, tomayto, tomahto........ lets call the whole thing off.
  7. Nobody likes the nouveau riche rubbing their wealth in people's faces BnWR. May I remind you that whilst you are gloating over the shiny new found money in Indian cricket wealth that one third of India's population is still existing below the poverty line. Why not address that with the vigour that you reserve for your wind ups? Or maybe you did and thats why you are over here and able to bite the hand that is feeding you.
  8. Listen when we defeat the old enemy it's something FOR US to celebrate and the Aussies will tell you the same. You have no interest other than envy and bitterness and you choose to contribute nothing other than windups and churlish criticism. So if I promise not to comment on the normal cheatfest that occurrs whenever your lot play Pakistan will you not just bugger off and keep your own council? Remember after what the Venkymob have done to BRFC and it's supporters your nation of origin is hardly flavour of the month around these parts is it?
  9. Can that be right Jim? Only two mentions from English teams and one of those is a Pakistani Hindu. I'd like to say I'm surprised and shocked...... but I'd be lying.
  10. You are an aggravating abe. "Get on yer bike" cock.
  11. Played 3 tests. Lost none and retained the ashes in the shortest possible time against what is normally an extremely arrogant and belligerent opponent. Small wonder is it? It'll swing around of course cos it always and when it does maybe those words will come back to haunt him. Still I know nowt about cricket so I might be well wrong of course.
  12. A closed and empty mind is never good. I wonder if as many ignore his words as have chosen to put you on ignore on here?
  13. Nope.... that 'distorted view on history' is reserved for the very enthusiastic originator of that report on Mrs Thatchers victory. Very well known to us all if I may say so!
  14. Not idiotic at all, but Lord Tebbitt made a strong point to qualify your definition of 'British'. http://barrettsonthisday.anorak.co.uk/uncategorized/1814/tebbit-proposes-cricket-test.html 23 years ago and unfortunately still appears to be relevent today despite many efforts and much hoo ha being made to promote integration.
  15. Yes a number of times and I wont be rushing back. Good and novel when it opened but I believe complacency set in and the prices (and the attitude of the owners) just left a feeling that they were taking the kean out of the customers. Worst bit it all became a bit 'cliquey' around a certain set of regulars.
  16. SR I doubt you are even aware of it but you possess a losers mentality. I bet you were a bit miffed when Dunny scored that late equaliser v Burnley cos it didn't allow them to end 35 years of not beating us. Can you expand on that?
  17. You do keep returning to this and labouring the point about the cheating Indians. If I didn't know better I'd say you were concentrating on them just a little too much for comfort in these enlightened times.
  18. Apart from Fred Talbot, Carol Kirkwood, Jo Blythe, John Kettley etc? Oh... and my piece of seaweed.
  19. It's sh1t or bust for the aussies, they have to take risks. still what do i know?
  20. I expect that you'll likely attract a withering comment from jim mk2 for that post Norbert.
  21. Cricket as you say is not my strong point and maybe I should refrain from giving an opinion...... however you know the square root of sweet FA about most other important issues but it doesn't stop you giving your intellectually derelict and badly skewed opinions on them nearly always accompanied with lots of personal criticism to just about everybody else on here.
  22. He's looking for a kick in em should we ever meet Donald..... then again the pair of you might like to form a queue.
  23. Given the chance of rain interupptions then England simply need to stay in for as long as possible rather than knock up a big score. We need a dull meandering draw rather than a spectacle to kill the series off. Whether that stubborn resistance is strong enough in the psyche of our batsman I don't know but we will find out. Also might be interesting to know if the TCCB consider retaining the ashes more important then ensuring good gates, maximising TV revenue, keeping sponsors and advertisers happy etc etc for the last two matches. I don't think in modern day cricket thatb the answer is all that straightforward.
  24. Thats an unfair comment Sparky Marky and you really should retract it. History is a cross most establishments have to bear but new owners have no link to previous ones and should not be judged on what has gone on in the past. I can guarantee that the Horden Rake (now Oyster and Otter) and the Clog and Billycock served godawful food until Jocelyn Neve and the Ribble Valley Inns took over and now they are dining places of real quality. Would you still come out with that so blithely if Delia or Fearnley Whittingstall etc had taken the place? Crikey thats a bit late! Can I take it that the owners of the Bukhara are related to you ... or do you have shares in it?
