  1. My anti virus package doesn't like your link one bit!
  2. I hate poor timing inevitably accompanied by multiple lies. Must say 24/7 are my taxi of choice cos their timekeeping is excellent. I even dropped in at their base to meet em a few years ago. Last night they landed up to take me home in a 3 litre Audi A8! Superb car and a proper limo.... btw what prejudices are they Sydney Rover? I didn't go to take them a crate of methyl alcohol to drink before dropping them off hunderds of miles away in the bush you know.
  3. Flintoff doesn't look right. He just doesn't lokk right trying to pack a punch. Timing and weight distribution just aint right.
  4. So you are happy to pay double at Christmas to a taxi driver who is giving up nowt and just doing his job? Do you tip on top? On that subject can you imagine the hoo hah that would be stirred up if everybody charged muslims double during some eid or other?
  5. You were going well there hardly until the last bit! I object like Kean!
  6. I like the Oyster and Otter very much but close on 200 quid for a family of 4 on Christmas Day..... without drinks and then arguing like Kean over a taxi fare with some muslim on double time!!! Nah. Not for me. Any Christmas spirit I ever possessed which would tempt me to get suckered like that evaporated decades ago.
  7. Any capital city in a muslim country! Christmas has lost it's meaning nowadays. It's just an orgy of excess.
  8. No but it's on my list to try one day with 2/3 like minded mates.
  9. Swimming in grease usually..... thats what made it almost compulsory after a night on the lager.
  10. If you can't be bothered driving to Samlesbury Bukhara then it's the Khyber imo.... their elephants ears are the best!
  11. I don't do carvery's Nick.... 'Never mind the quality, feel the width weight. Around these parts it's a price game and the result is too much overcooked watery veg and cheap meat. I'd go with Tom's suggestion ... but thats based on nothing substantial other than it's a nice venue and I have heard some good reports.
  12. Now don't take off with your bat and ball. Just tell us what ?, represents. I admit I'm baffled so it is a genuine question.
  13. Your grammar and punctuation is always poor hardly but thats twice in subsequent posts that you've followed an exclamation mark with a comma. What do you do that for?
  14. Pafell thanks for the consideration but I don't really need it. The matter was closed as far as I was concerned. I hadn't retorted cos I'm quite content to leave hardly to his opinions and his dodgepot greasy spoon cafes. Most of my recommendations come under the heading 'pearls before swine' for such anyway.
  15. Dan you are a lazy bugger................... Tempest Arms http://www.tempestar...o.uk/findus.php
  16. Personally I've not been in a better one but the alcohol free dictat does put many (proper) English diners off. On the plus side it makes it seem extremely cheap though......... Trick is to dine an hour earlier and then stop for a bevvy in the local on the way home. That said the take aways areeasily worth the 10 min drive.
  17. Wish I'd gone there. I went to Mr Freds for the first time and whilst the food was good the portions were at odds. The steak and ale pudd and chips was huge but the other portions on the table were miserly. Unfortunately I'd selected a squid and chorizo salad which whilst very tasty was meagre enough to allow me to appreciate fully the steak and ale pudd and chips that re indoors couldn't manage! Worst bit was that we had a current £20 off offer voucher and forgot to use it! *Co-incidentally gumboots my mate informed me at the table that his current fav restaurant is the Tempest Arms!
  18. hang on...... AS has only been away a few hours! http://www.brfcs.com...ost__p__1335623
  19. Went there last night. They really do do most things right.
  20. If he did dream of that he should have woken up and apologised.
  21. Jan, Blue Phil and AESF all good and well educated posters got massive stick on here with the latter two copping for it big time on icbinf whilst imo receiving little protection from what was then heavily agenda'd moderation. I don't mind posters tooing and froing but it's a shame to lose the better ones simply as a result of permitted mob rule.
  22. Getting to his natural level now. Unbelievable to think that Tugay played in Rangers Reserves cos Ferguson was preferred over him. .... but I'm bloody glad he was! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2226936/Barry-Ferguson-joins-Fleetwood-Town-loan.html?ito=feeds-newsxml
  23. Google Abbey? To book a table please call: 01254 203200 e-mail: info@oysterandotter.co.uk
  24. How on earth did the ref see to earn Pienarr a second yellow? No wonder Moyes blew a fuse.
