If Mowbray is still at Ewood next season, I won't be. People outside the club will blame it on the supporters. Lets get as many as possible down to watch the U23s, to prove we support the Rovers, it's Mowbray we have a problem with.

Perhaps the problem is the way of playing rather than the players. Wing backs and fullbacks are nowhere near the same. They are used in two totally different formations. So what you get if you think they are all the same, is a hybrid which is no good in either position.

Have we got a right wing back problem? I didn't realise we played with wing backs.

Personally I would play Nyambe at right back and JRC at right wing. At the same time. I must admit I do like partnerships : fullbacks and wingers, two centerhalves, two central midfielders, two central forwards.

As a defensive strategy, I would say that is a load of bollocks. If the defence played further up because you have one faster than most defender, the attackers would just target one of the other defenders. You need a co-ordinated defence, ideally with a plan that has been practiced in training.

You start by getting it played over the tannoy system, to get people used to singing it. eventually the crowd will take over. It might take a few matches, it might take a lot of matches, but it will happen. Crystal Palace is a prime example. I still feel sick when I hear "Glad All Over".

I would say there are no slow professional footballers. More that some are faster than others. Give me defenders who can defend over ones that the main part of their game is attacking. If you want wide attackers then play wingers.

When you are in Rotherhams position you have to target a win in every game.

To be honest I can live with our points situation, although I don't like it. What I cannot take, is Mowbrays denial of him being part of, or all of, the cause of the Rovers problems

I am not so much bothered if the defender is fast, what I want is a good defender. I don't get your logic with Nyambe and Pickering as they play in different positions.
