Too many. Seems like a Danny Graham lookalike contest. Thank goodness for the well groomed Downing. ? -

On the ifollow front my mate's son has linked his laptop up to their oled TV and it's a cracking picture. Not had any problemswith the feed at all. Sympathy to everyone who's been having problems. -

Reasonably encouraging first half. Gallagher terrible as always, thought Brereton looked decent. Would like to see a lot more from Holtby. Difficult to see how we'll ever do anything with that dolloper in the nets though. -

Walton strikes again. Worst I've seen in a Rovers shirt apart from maybe Alan Fettis. It's ok now though, playing quite well overall. -

Thank you. Definitely not the fault of the ladies on the phones by the sound of it. The code works too! Just had a quick look at a match highlight and the picture quality on my laptop is better than I was expecting. We'll see what it's like on a match day with everyone logging in. -

Wow, rang the Club, got straight through amazingly and the nice lady on the phone gave me the code straightaway. She said a lot of people hadn't had their code for some reason and there was another lady on the e-mails who'd been in since 07.30 this morning trying to get through all the queries. Blood pressure back to normal, well done to those 2 ladies doing their best to sort out this bloody mess. -

No code received. E-mailed the Club before 9a.m. this morning as instructed on the Club website at tickets@rovers.co.uk and not had any sort of response whatsoever. Not even an e-mail to indicate there is any sort of problem. Not happy at all. Appalling customer service. Also bought a "face in the crowd" to help the Club out and won't even get to see that. Have had about 6 e-mails from them since placing the order just before 1800 last night to indicate the progress with the order, Rovers can't even generate an automated e-mail to acknowledge receipt of mine. Whether or not they subsequently bother to reply. -
January transfer window 2020
RevidgeBlue replied to GunnerRover7's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Where's this come from? Is this for everyone in all four divisions? Most managers under Venky's especially Mowbray and our alleged insider at the Club Paul Mani who pops up every transfer window have always said the owners never refuse funding when asked. If FFP is to be completely abolished for 12 months with no future comeback or strings attached then if the funding and the willingness really was there the thing to do would be to spend massively now and get everyone in you need for the forseeable future, and make sure hardly anyone was needed when the rules did come back into effect. We shall see. Not really holding my breath. -

I do have an e-mail but thanks for the advice. If nothing comes in the morning I'll attempt to ring the Club. -

If I ever get a code, do you have to sign up for I follow separately? -

It was more a case of I didn't know if I automatically had some sort of my Rovers account as a ST holder and didn't know where to look. I assume that if like me you had never had any need to make any online purchases you won't have one. I managed to check this by putting in my e-mail address and usual password into the log in section and it said the e-mail address wasn't recognised. Go to Rovers.co.uk and click on the drop down menu options square in the top right hand corner of the screen. Select "My account" at the bottom of the drop down options and register for a new account giving all your personal details. (I kept having to redo this as my computer was selecting autofill options and putting the wrong things in the wrong boxes.) When you've put your e - mail address in and completed the registration Rovers will send you an e-mail with a link which you have to click on to activate your account. You then have to update your account preferences and the final step is to click on a '"link account" tab to connect the new account you've just created to your season ticket. If you've done it right your ST number should come up on screen. I did all this on Wednesday afternoon but haven't received a code as yet. Apologies for boring all the techies. -

I've not had my code yet, I'm in the category of "think I have successfully set up my account but missed the Tuesday deadline". -

I agree. I managed to sign up for an account (just) but in general people who are tech savvy vastly overestimate the ability of people who aren't. Rovers for instance said something like "Go to your my Rovers account and make sure your details are updated and that your ticketing account is linked to your online account". Having managed to do it eventually I now understand what was meant but before I'd completed the task you might as well have been speaking a foreign language. What should have been provided was a set of step by step instructions. Go to Rovers. co .uk click on the my account tab at the top or bottom of the page and if you haven't got an account already, open one by clicking this option then complete said boxes then choose that option to link your my Rovers account to your season ticket etc etc. -
Watching the Villa/Sheff Utd. game the goal line technology obviously needs a good service. Or the system doesn't work if the keeper has hold of the ball. What a joke.

Surely though the whole point of testing is that everyone can be retested again in 2-3 days and only those who are positive need to self isolate and the rest are clear to play and can carry on as normal. If the number of positive tests was substantial enough on retest (presumably a sort of number that has previously been discussed between the Clubs )then that might be grounds for the Club in question to request a postponement. We'd never get restarted if we go to ground everytime there's the odd positive test, 8 positives out of over 2200 tests carried out isn't pad at all imo.
-
Cheers. After numerous false starts have just just registered for a my Rovers account, updated my preferences and linked my season ticket. We'll see if I get my code. I'll be fuming if I dont get it because of the arbitrary deadline they didn't tell anyone about. Don't fancy my chances of getting sorted via the e-mail address given if the code doesn't arrive. Now then whether to spend £45 on a cut out before 6p.m tomorrow....... Might scare off the opposition. ?
-
Not sure if I'm moaning for the sake of it but I just logged in to Rovers.co.uk to find out what I need to do to get the I follow only to discover I have already apparently missed a deadline of 6p.m. Tuesday to take the necessary steps and having read the article I'm not really that much wiser as to what I should have done in the first place. Anyone else in the same boat?
-
Yep. And we haven't even offered the credit note either. (Yet) But even now its feeling like any concessions will only be given if enough people complain and the Club are shamed into offering something.
-
Yeah, Chaplin's I think it was called. Had to sneak in there underage for a couple of 18th birthday parties from school. ?

My mate's son says he and Williams have knocks. Not sure how when they've been doing predominantly non contact training but still. -
Difficult to disagree but as Dreams of 1995 said I'm not sure the "Waggott has no authority" line washes in the current climate as Businesses in general have had to adapt the way they work during the Pandemic and it would have taken a matter of minutes for him to speak to the owners by video link.
-
Just had a proper read of the notes of the FF meeting and, potentially, the more I read it the more appalled I am. I really hope Waggott doesn't send out another communication advising fans that refunds are a matter of "financial hardship" and that if you want one you've got to contact the Club pleading your case. Refunds should be available to anyone who wants one regardless of status, and regardless of the reason they want one, no questions asked, but obviously if you get one you don't get the I follow. I'm sure we've all been in the position at some point where we've had to contact our creditors to negotiate a temporary arrangement regarding a debt but it's pretty embarrassing having to explain why you're in difficulty, and not the most pleasant experience. I think it really will be the final straw for most fans if they have to go begging cap in hand to the Club for a relatively small refund.

Shouldn't affect us as much as Walton wasn't starting from much of a base to begin with....
