The worry is that Mowbray has mentioned Holtby, Brereton, Samuel, Buckley and Rothwell as a possible replacement for Dack. All I can see is constant chopping and changing of these players with no one (like Buckley) getting a run in that position. More likely to play 1 game there and then another as an inside forward.

I figured he was injured after going off with injury against Birmingham. If he's not, then start him over Bennett for sure.

You literally don't give players game time at any level above pub level (as in, when the players give up their free time and pay for the game themselves) Players competing for positions is one of the things that drives a team on. Players knowing they will be rotated regardless of performance (either good or bad) isn't a great way to operate.

Comfortably the worst news we could be given as a Rovers fan at the moment (aside from the club going under) Best player, leading scorer, most valuable asset and player we've built our system around is out for the season and the start of the next. No one is good enough to take his place in the starting 11. Mowbray isn't a particularly good manager either, so he'll really need to earn his corn now.

Agreed. If Holtby fills the void left by Dack (must be him or Rothwell?) then we will find out just how good he is in the coming weeks. I rate Holtby but I just don't think he'll have the same impact that Dack does. Much like when people were advocating his sale in the summer, he will be noticeable by his absence.

I remember they had a bit of beef with him because there were a lot of "who's the better player" comments and polls on twitter etc. between Dack and Nick Powell. Particularly when we were both in league one. They would never have it that Dack was better. As its transpired, Dack has come out well on top in that battle. Other than that, just petty rivalry is the only other thing I can think of.

I hit the beach last night after i saw that they gave 6AP. Still both Squall and Quistis leveled up a bit alongside that. You can get ahead pretty quickly by refining cards and going down that route. I think the Zell and Quistis cards can be refined into an item and then refined again into strong magic. I'll look it up properly later

A game we need to be winning if we are making any serious assault on that top 6 but in typical Rovers fashion, we will probably get beat. Hope not though!

Although it feels a bit wrong the x3 speed is an absolute life saver. Even just running around The Garden you start off in, when you need to get from the front gate to your dormitory. Yer, i've read that you should try and stay low leveled, seems quite a difficult task though, as you'd need to get AP for your GF's? Unless you can get these outside of battles?

It's an interesting theory, I think I'd have to play the game again to see how it holds up. I tried to play it on emulator but it froze at a certain point and I had to give up with it. My only issue with theories like these are, why would they not tell you it was a dream? Or allude to it more clearly? I think the theory has just highlighted problems with the storyline, rather than anything else. I'll buy FF8 again tonight I reckon, its definitely worth another play but now I have an excuse that I need to see how this guys Squalls Dead theory plans out. Cheers for that DE.!
