I'm not judging him but at the start of the season Pears stock was at an all time low, in fact, if we'd have sold him over the summer every Rovers fan would have said it was the correct decision. We spent a reasonable amount (for us) for a player to never play, the fact he couldn't displace Pears off the back of last season is slightly concerning but as I say, Pears hasn't really done anything wrong to warrant dropping.

Agreed. He's doing a great job with what he has but it's a tactic that can only take us so far. The bloke himself has stated he wants a striker with championship experience, he knows we badly need goals but also knows that the current crop aren't going to deliver them.

Reminded me of Arsenal fans when we had Hughes in charge. They would come to Ewood and have the hell kicked out of them and then be crying all the way home how we didn't play football "in the right way", as in just let them win basically. Football fans seem to have collective amnesia, not many remember where they were a few years back, or where they have been in the past. Not sure who Leeds think they are crowing about anti-football in all honesty.
