Finishing a must-win game passing the ball between THREE centre halves is enough.
Said it many times, but Gallagher on the pitch makes us far worse.
JE OUT is the only chance of survival this season.
I honestly can’t believe we finished that match with 3 at the back. 3 lads at the back launching it down the channel to Markanday….against Millwall!

Was that Hyam telling the fans to calm down when yet again he took it backwards? This are bunch of twats we've got here.
Bad when the lads in the riverside can see the picture clearer than you. What on earth was he doing passing that back in.
There’s a lot out there tonight that I just don’t want to see in a Rovers shirt again, their time is done.- 1

Not once, not once, did we look like winning that match.
For that reason, we will not stay up, as it literally doesn’t get any easier than that tonight.Eustace has been brought in to allegedly keep us up, and therefore, he has to go tonight.
We are horrendous- 5

Thank fuck for that gift! And thank god for Sammie Szmodics - imagine if that had fallen to Gallagher feet!!
Come on Rovers, kick on and win this

Against the run of play, but not unexpected
But what exactly is ‘run of play’. We’ve done nothing but pass it around the back/middle and give it away in their 3rd with some aimless lump up the line. xG 0.23 at home to Millwall after 1 hour. Eustace has ripped us apart

If there ever was a game that had 0-0 written all over it this is it. Trust both teams to miss a penalty if given. Really poor.
Well that’s put an end to that 😐
These lads aren’t fit to where the shirt and those that were praising Eustace after scraping a few draws need to open your eyes, this football is as bad as I can remember and we can’t even defend despite adding the extra CB

2 poor teams. Where are our 2 goals coming from?
Our only hope is Szmodics, next up I’ve probably got Scott Wharton, that’s what it says about our other attacking players.

Dolan is a frustrating player.
He looks like he should be fast but he’s extremely slow with the ball and he looks like he’d be a good dribbler but I’ve never seen him beat the first defender.
Add in the poor decision making and he doesn’t really offer much more than work rate. -

Pickering at LWB when he doesn't have the athleticism to get up and down the flank.
Worrying times.
So long as he can defend that’s all I care about right now as not many of the others can!

Glad to see no Moran and that Pickering is starting. Worried would be an understatement for the fella in the sticks though. Let’s hope he doesn’t have much to do.

Fully expecting these two coaches rather negative must not lose tactics to cancel each other out. We fully need someone to pull something out the bag tonight to make the difference imo.
I'll be amazed if it doesn't finish 1-1 and see a sub 11k gate.
Fingers crossed for Sammie - feels our only hope to stick the ball in the net!

Broughton probably mentioned the international break hoping by that stage we'd be mid-table and he could just reel off a few lines about next season and tying up the player then, to which happy clappers would defend him and the club.
It's backfired for him (as has everything he's done since joining the club pretty much), as we're now in a relegation battle and he's going to come out and explain (or remind us) of how much he cocked up in January whilst we're 1 point above a relegation place and in free-fall.
Hope the curry was nice at least.

Tonight's match feels like one of the biggest in recent memory (for the wrong reasons), and it looks like we'll see one of our lowest ever crowds for a league game in recent decades, all thanks to the appalling way the club is being run. Anything less than 3 points simple isn't good enough now.

Infuriating as others have said. We’re getting 18 minutes out of him for a probable cost of around £500k in wages.
Zero accountability at Rovers. Rock up for a job for life, regardless of your competence.

We scrapped a point playing shite at Cardiff, that was a positive.
We haven't managed it today despite a good second half because weak play by the usual suspects gave us a mountain to climb after 10 mins or so.
That's a negative, where you negative on Tues ? Actually don't answer i can guess.
How is playing shite a positive? Short-termism that will bite us (and has) in the behind. We were clearly not moving towards mid-table and instead closer to the bottom 3 - nothing to be positive about.
I was positive on Tuesday as the players actually looked like they were interested in the shirt they were wearing, which can’t be said often recently, and clearly wasn’t backed up today.
Anyway, besides the back and forth, we’re in agreement that we’re run by morons, the majority of players are weak at worst and uninterested at best, the owners have ripped any quality we had apart and any manager would struggle to get a tune out of what’s left.
6 points from Millwall and Plymouth needed.

I haven't come around anywhere pal
Any manager needs to build his own team in his own style with the time and budget he has available. He like anyone else coming in has to work with what he has right now and that isn't much.
About time some finger pointing was done at the players they all suddenly turned into trojans when the cameras were here but within a few days they are mice again.
He needs time but we need points right now so yeah not looking good but the Appletons vibes are more to do with the guy himself and the scenario hes walked into. We have to remember that he had a load of tripe as well but he did have Jordan Rhodes.
So, sorry whatever i said 2 weeks ago still stands.
You said we should all be positive because we scraped a draw in a shocking performance at Cardiff. As well as your belief we were marching towards mid-table and no longer slipping towards the bottom 3 (which was factually incorrect at the time, and further eye-opening now)
Judging by your posts tonight, you’re no longer positive so that last sentence is hypocritical.
Glad you’ve seen some sense anyway, sort of.- 1

I was thinking Mowbray mk2 but he's nowhere near as experienced as he was but yeah there are more Crappleton vibes with this fella now.
Glad to see you’ve come around. You were telling me to come around to reality and it only took you 2 weeks to do so yourself.

6 points from the next two and I’ll be confident we’re staying up, 4 points and I’ll be hopeful, 3 points and I’ll be worried, less than 3 and we’re down.

Still not a peep out of Greg and co. about how they managed to fuck up a 3rd transfer window either.
They’re stealing a living. The whole upper management needs gutting.- 14

For all the Eustace love in the other night, he’s had a pretty horrendous start where it’s mattered.
Yep, people started using results against JDT but not much has changed. 3 draws and 2 defeats in 5 matches he’s taken charge of.
Defence looks just as bad as before and that’s with an extra defender in there.
Ominous, as others have said, we need 6 points from the next two.Has Sam Gallagher ever been in the right place at the right time? Must have the worst positional sense of any striker I’ve ever watched.

Some posters on here appear to have completely forgotten the transfer windows he endured. 3 separate occasions of incompetence leading to transfers falling through - yet no consequences for those involved.

Be interesting to know how he is going to approach training over the next week. After a humongous effort over 120 minutes straight into two massive games on Saturday/Tuesday with a horrendous coach trip to Swansea thrown in.
Minimal exertion and work on the tactical side you’d think… flying to south Wales too would help, but considering they won’t even pay the M6 Toll far more chance of 🐖 flying.
But remember our coach is state of the art…

Sums it up perfectly. Low budget, but shambolic use of it. The lot of them would be gutted if we had competent owners.
