You're talking out your arse fella.

you are wrong on both counts! And I wouldn't even say that I've been posting "a lot" recently so I don't even know(or care) what you are talking about.

This was my favourite. You’re a WUM point blank.
Saying JDT was as manipulative as Kean.

    Open your eyes.

You just keep blabbing on about how we were the better team and should have been in the lead and unlucky, you must be asleep and dreaming through the 90 minutes. Clueless.

So if I have this right, since Eusless arrived, Sam Gallagher has been playing Centre Forward and has not had a single shot.

Is it 7 games, no attempts ?

What sort of Duck Egg is he ?

He is beyond frustrating. When you look at individual moments in the game you realise how bad a footballer he is, in positional sense more than anything else.
Prime example today, the Sigurdsson sitter he missed, the break when Szmodics had the ball, Gallagher was still trotting around about 30 yards behind the ball.
You’re meant to be our number 9! Beggers believe we didn’t cash in when we could. What a waste of wage. Built like a Spartan but has the brain/skill of a *insert inept character*

I agree with everything you say, although we should have been 2 up and cruising  before Plymouth got on top.

Been flicking through the match day thread since I got back, and it would appear that if Eustace does actually keep us up after the bollocks he inherited, he will probably deserve a knighthood.

He inherited a team that was pretty much mid table, about 12 points (or close to that ?) above the drop and finished outside the playoffs by goal difference last season

Three games ago I was quite comfortable that we wouldn't to down. That doubt dissipated somewhat after Swansea but after Tuesday and today I'm convinced we will be relegated. The first ten minutes aside Plymouth were streets ahead of us and if I was a fan of theirs I would have been disappointed not to win and win by three or four goals. We started well, scored and Sigurdsson misses an easy chance and for some unfathomable reason the game changed. We must have the slowest three centre halves in living memory so to play a high line against a pacy young team was footballing suicide. Time and time again they got in from either a simple ball over the top, down the sides or in behind. So we get through to half time and expect changes particularly when we see Hedges doing a strenuous warm up at half time. But no, our tactically astute manager doesn't see it the same way as us and that we are once again being overrun in midfield. The second half starts in exactly the same vein and lo and behold a ball over the top of our high line catches us out and McFadzean is off. I honestly don't think that anybody with half a brain cell thought at that point we could win. Then a couple of baffling changes which hindered us even more handed a bigger advantage to Plymouth whose changes we really positive. The inevitable happened and once again was a calamity of errors. I really thought Plymouth would go on to win from there and once again bad finishing and luck saved us. Two players worthy of mention were Szmodics and Ayari. The rest were pretty useless but the biggest criticism from me is for Eustace. I know it's only early in his time here but the omens aren't good, in fact they are poor. He doesn't appear to have and tactical nous or has the ability to change anything. His one dimensional approach is alarming and his touchline demeanour doesn't inspire me. Still he might be happy tonight as, according to him today wasn't a must win game. I'm struggling to get angry right now and my acceptance is almost a fait accompli after the last thirteen years. My disgust is for the owners and their munchkins at Ewood. Hopefully something happens on Tuesday in a court on another continent that hastens their departure.

On the bus home me and my granddaughter looked at the likely line up of League One next season and have already planned some trips.

Very well summed up and such admiration for the travel and time you put into the club despite these turbulent times

We shouldn't, we should have been 2 up and cruising.

Thats easy to say from the Sigurdsson chance but Plymouth had 2 or 3 big chances themselves in that period. 2 one on ones alone when our CBs had no clue from a long ball. 2 up is blinkered looking at our chances alone. We should have been level in my eyes, as every single stat would validate.

Time to start asking some serious questions of the players now. Big bad JDT is long gone but they are still in victim mindset. Full of excuses, pass the blame, avoid accountability, take the easy way out at every opportunity, defeatist and soft as shite.

That Waggott meeting and that Brittain quote. Jesus what a bunch of spineless gits.

Jesus! Reading through these comments does make me think that you really do get the club that you deserve sometimes

Eustace has come in at another dreadful period on and off the pitch and has been playing games back to back literally from day one without so much as an international break to spend a little extra time coaching and getting to know the players one to one.

I’ve seen a lot of what you’ve posted recently and you’re either a good WUM or a dingle. You’re no supporter of this club, if you are, you’re aiding our downfall.

    Warnock just left/quit/got fired.

Why don't we sack this useless coach and get Warnock in to keep us up for the last couple of months

Worst case at least it’ll be some form of comedy post-match. He wouldn’t put up with some of our dossers though.

Unfortunately there’s no chance he’d work under Venkys

Lets be honest, we were lucky not to get beat 5-1 today.

    At home.

    To Plymouth.

They somehow missed quite a few really good chances which would be goals on another day or against another side.

We had 1 chance all game, when Siggy hit the bar.

    At home.

    To Plymouth.

Yet some posters will come out and say Eustace has “shored up our defense” because we only conceded one.

Cheltenham next week - blinkers are well and truely on for some

  11. There’s just nothing to say really that hasn’t been said already. The club is the absolute pits.

There will be 5k in a 30k stadium next year watching 11 academy players (the last bit I actually hope for as I never want to see the likes of Gallagher, Hyam, Brittain and co put on our shirt again - absolute zero effort regardless of their quality)

  12. We’re actually odds on for this match, whilst I was aware Plymouth were in a bit of free-fall themselves, they must be rated very poorly.
We really need 3 points, they look like the team as likely as ourselves to drop into the bottom 3.
We’d all love a bit of breathing space going into the international break if we can grab a point at Boro too.

  13. Regarding the betting posts previous…

Yeah the Indian market is big (declined a little recently with crack downs), but it certainly is not filtering into Championship football, and 100% is not filtering into shots on target or manager sackings / appointments which was quoted.
Remember that someone is taking the other side of the bet, do you really think they’d be willing to lay large amounts on Rovers in a Championship match in India?

If 4 bets in row for £20 were placed on Big Sam next manager to go at 33/1 the price would be cut instantly to single digits, that’s a liability of £2.5k - no firm anywhere is ending up with a huge red book or payouts of millions on those markets, and they’re not even offered in India

The majority of wagered money in India is cricket (see what turnover the exchange used to do on the IPL), the rest is lotteries / gaming.

I despite Venkys as much as the next poster, but the betting angle is a massive stretch.

I think the idea has come from us conceding a lot less goals.

Thats the sort of logic that loads of this board were saying about the team, its set-up and how much we’d improved after a few early undeserved draws… by that I mean brushing over the wider picture of the quality of team we’ve faced + the extra CB yet still not looking better defensively.

I could equally counter that we conceded 1 less goal against those 6 teams faced under JDT. See your tiny sample size is either factually incorrect or statistically useless (we also did so whilst scoring 6 more goals - 1 extra goal per match)

To summarise, no we do not look more solid / harder to breakdown / more of unit etc etc at all

  15. I’ve still no idea where this myth of our “shored up back line”, “tightened up” and “back to basics” has come from.
We look just as horrendous defensively and that’s with an extra CB and to the detriment of any attacking/progressive play remaining.

Not a clue what some of you have been watching this past month.

On the attacking front we’ve had an xG above 1 just once in his 6 league games and that was 1.01 against Norwich. Those matches include Millwall, Swansea, Cardiff, Norwich, Preston, Birmingham - all outside the playoffs and we’re not even coming close to troubling them OR looking good defensively. (If you hate xG I’ve just used it to show how dire we are at creating anything now too)
