I can’t see them paying compensation. Look at how they let ToMo go by running out his contract. -

Hull have not even got out of 1st gear. It is like a pre season friendly against Bridlington for them. -

Left early. That was a joke. Ennis, Smozdics, Brittain, A Wharton, Whalstead were embarrassing. No effort, just turgid slow football. -

Yes. The owners are not allowed to put any other monies into the Club whilst under investigation. Presently they can only put money into the Club for statutory payments and wages if interim relief is agreed by the High Court; the next application to the Delhi High Court is in January. -

They must invest but can only invest if we either sell players or we raise monies via the day to day operations of the Club such as gate and commercial revenue. -

Spot on Tony. Tronstad and Garrett are fantastic players. It went wrong when Hyam went off. The 5 sub rule does not help us when comparing the paucity on our bench and the lack of quality to change a game compared to Watford, Southampton, Leeds etc. -

Good point. We have already agreed an evaluation meeting with the club in the New Year and an analysis of those attending (new fans / returning fans / postcode etc) is part of that discussion. A follow up with them sounds like something we should definitely discuss. -

Thanks to everyone who supported the Trust ‘Fans Takeover’ today. Thanks to the work of various fans groups, especially brfcs and rovers chat, along with the active support of the Club we put well over 5,500 on the attendance today of whom many bought items in the shop, kiosks and concessions. Without it being a ‘Fans Takeover’ game with reduced pricing we would have probably have had 12,000 maximum. The best thing was seeing all the families turning up. Happy Christmas 🔵⚪️ PS: this is the time for you to show your support for what your Trust is trying to do to engage the Club and boost attendances. We are all volunteers in the Trust but we need new members, finances, ideas and your support. Join us via: http://www.roverstrust.com -

Yes. The number of comps is very low these days, probably a couple of dozen at most. -

WO1 by the Darwen End. It is about 250 seats. They may find a dead body or two underneath as it has been there for a long term. You can’t miss it as it says Venkys but many may sublimely pass over it without noticing 😂😂😂 -

Whilst dropping off our stuff in the Fanzone yesterday Duncan and I asked about corporate and were told it is “very full”. I don’t know how that equates to numbers. -

There are only about 150 tickets left in the whole of the JW which equates to 10,650 sold in that stand when taking into account the netted off area which surely should be removed today. I cannot recall it being that full for 15+ years. -

The Rovers Community Trust BRCT do some fantastic work in BwD schools, youth centres and the local community in general; it helps having a unitary authority and some excellent contacts in the council. I would find it difficult to fault their work. When it comes to outside BwD it is more challenging with competition with other club community trusts for catchment areas. Also the schools outside are mainly under Preston based Lancashire County Council with the leisure centres and youth centres tending to come under numerous district councils. This requires different and far more numerous relationships and the funding to undertake such work. I am not trying to score points here but outside of BwD includes many far more prosperous areas which, in my opinion, should be targeted as the value to Rovers in terms of income as well as footfall is invaluable. -

Just over 50% of our ST holders are from outside of BwD. Try driving away from the game today along Livesey Branch Rd and up Moulden Brow in the direction of Hoghton and Wheelton; it will be chocker. -

That is true, they are counted because they have been paid for. SW told me we had sold just over 15k home tickets by 10am this morning.
