Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
Mike Graham replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
…..at every home and away game for use on 18 and 75 minutes. They would look good in the away stand at Dumpdale and would get good media coverage. -

I just had a call off a club employee saying that the COO has asked Ishmael to play our 1st Team against Old Etonians so we have the chance of boasting about a decent home victory. I would not bank on it. -

Shifting the blame onto others is a low punch. If anyone did that on my shift they would have been called out (privately of course) and read the riot act. -

A worse record than Steve Kean. That takes some beating. -
Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas
Mike Graham replied to DuffsLeftPeg's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
There is hardly anyone left at Ewood to protest. We were lucky if we managed 5k home fans in last night; all we had were a few shouts of “you don’t know what you’re doing” and a banner for the last few minutes saying ‘Pasha Out’ - I doubt if anyone outside of the Rovers fan base (and even some of our fans) knows who Pasha is. The Sheffield Wednesday home game should be the target for a joint protest with the Owls supporters. -

When Ishmael started making his substitutions there was palpable laugher in the JW Upper. Ishmael is clearly a problem but we must focus on the root cause: ownership and the plants (several connotations to the word plant) they employ at Ewood Towers and Brockhall. -

FF members apparently invited to Brockhall to see how good the team spirit is. I hope the visit is this morning. -

I had zero excitement before the game. Trundling down in the pissing rain along empty streets to watch a poor standard of football is not exactly enticing. It looks like many other supporters have lost their mojo as well. I took a long range photo of the Red Rose Executive dining suite about 10 minutes before kick off and not one table was taken, they didn’t even have the tables set out ready for guests. The other photo was taken on 94 minutes. I would hazard a guess at less than 6,000 actually turned up at Ewood tonight. Thank you Venkys 🤬 -

WATR met with him. He sounded interested but delivered nothing. Rovers are not part of his remit. -
It appears to be false news - thank goodness.

He appears to have taken his post down.

Does anyone know if this is true? It is difficult to comment unless it is confirmed. If it is true it is utterly disgraceful.

150th Anniversary kit/celebrations

Steve Waggott had planned to have 3 gable ends painted. They were also going to follow up with the WATR suggestion of a Blue Plaque on the site of Rovers formation; we even provided evidence that the shop owner was keen for this to happen. -

Is this a freebie invite or the one you have to fork out £230 for? If i do get my invite (🙀🤣🤣🤣) it will be returned with a wee message of rejection. -

The £18.75 idea (as well as £187.50 ST’s) was one the Trust suggested to the Club some 2 1/2 years ago when we first starting talking to the club about “a season of celebrations”. The club take the best of our ideas (including the flexi ST) as their own ideas then launch them with the worst possible timing. -

It will be a bit chilly on Tuesday evening. If the Stasi want to search me for sneaking in an illicit pie they will have to put their hands down my undies to find my warm peppered steak. -

Some good news prior to the game tomorrow. Leavers bakery are open pre-match 🥳 That’s me stocked up for during the game at a reasonable price and with excellent quality. -

Two hours per week!! Is that 2 hours before or after the lunch break? -
It is less than a month to the next FF on the 20th October. Shall we ‘open a book’ on whether it will be postponed and also the reasons / excuses given? I bet it is odds on the FF will be postponed. The reason will either be a flooded pitch, or the Club are working on what to organise for the 150th anniversary.
