  1. What is Chris doing with his left hand?
  2. My WhatsApp inbox tells me that we had a kit deal sorted with Adidas including a refurb of the club shop (perhaps a waste of time when Rovers discourage footfall), a players boot deal along with Rovers Spezial trainers and a part of the 2026 Spezial FC range. What the insider tells me is that he believes there are two breach of contract claims. This may of course be a complete tosh. I am just passing on info received.
  3. In my humble opinion I don’t suit replica shirts. I prefer a tent.
  4. In my humble opinion Castore are dreadful shirts, cheap looking. Shirt sales will fall off the cliff.
  5. I am told No1. When the new contract is announced you may wish to check who the shareholders of the company are.
  6. Rovers will also need the money to pay for the legal action against them re the shirt contract.
  7. The Hyam sale is to pay for all the Rovers 150 Anniversary books nobody wants.
  8. I just had a phone call from a trusted source close who claims: “ I understand venkys are to be heavily fined for financial misconduct and will have penalties added to their business and associated companies.”
  9. It was no criticism of the bloke involved; I was showing what the ‘leadership’ was up to. I guess he also had his photo taken with Kargbo pre-match.
  10. …and so do I. There are some really good and decent people involved. I am sure we will get some information soon.
  11. I agree but what exactly are the Coalition doing? It is very quiet on that front. I was previously intimately involved in WATR but members have yet to hear what they are doing with the only member communication being immediately after the agm over two months ago to inform members the officers had changed.
  12. Our club leadership of Pasha, Gestede and Suki went for a walkabout in the Fanzone prior to the game yesterday to have chats with supporters. Maybe this is the new supporter consultation? I wonder if they release a video clip or a few photos of them all happy and smiles together?
  13. I totally agree that we need to give the team more time to gel. What worries me is the quality of players in front of me bar Cantwell, Tronstad, Toft and Alebiosu. We are lacking depth and a couple of injuries to key players will create serous problems. We appear to be following the Poundland business model and look what happened to them. Instead of that pathetic TIFO (it was embarrassing yesterday given the small numbers in the BBE available to hold it aloft) we should bat a new banner made “Poundland Rovers”?
  14. Is this yet another cost cutting exercise? Rovers used to pay for a guy with a falcon to come to the stadium a couple of times a week to scare away the pigeons and seagulls. It now appeared that we have a plastic falcon instead. Any ideas of a nickname for the plastic falcon? I fancy ‘Pasha the Pretend Peregrine’. I just had a closer look at the above photo. The paint on the roof steelwork is peeling away and the Brian Douglas plastic wrap is starting to peel off. Some basic maintenance needs to take place.
  15. I was sat with a group of Rovers junior players this afternoon and they were laughing at Kargbo and Gueye.
  16. I have been saying this for weeks. He is dreadful and it takes 76 mins to get him off. I would have taken him off at 6 minutes.
  17. The Personal Assistant, Christina Haines, to the COO and CEO (when he / she is finally announced) left Rovers today for Training 2000. She is a lovely lady who has been very loyal to Rovers. Good luck Christina. I wish you well in your new employment. You did right to jump ship.
  18. You do realise he was a free transfer rather than “an undisclosed fee.” Those were words agreed with Rangers to help your club save face.
  19. The Strikers Lounge in the BBE for our younger fans is closed today with no explanation.
  20. My friend* was going to take his grandson to the Strikers Lounge pre match today as he does every home game. It is closed and no explanation was given nor available. Does anyone know why please? *They are ST holders living in central Preston. Will the club please note not all supporters are from within the confines of BwD 🤔
  21. You have summed it up well Tony. Ironically the last few times I have bought a bottle of lemonade from the concourse it was given to me with the top still in place. I guess the server gave me a good look up and down and came to the conclusion I am not the type to throw the bottle on the pitch or dare I say it at the Directors area EDIT: I have stocked up on some Whist pies from Bowens in Chorley this morning. To the club official reading these posts I am going to secrete them in my underpants to keep them warm; you are more than welcome to try and remove them. The pleasure will be mine, and yours!! 🤣
  22. 210mm I may go to the Club Shop (it is normally shut when I am able to go) and buy an item and ask (pay for) for a plastic bag larger than A4. That should be interesting. Seriously though this is pathetic from the Club. They are the experts in pissing off fans.
  23. Another £250k for Rovers if he plays.
  24. There are ways round it. Indeed in the JW Upper supporters are often sat watching the game with a pint. No one bothers.
