  1. wot about Jim Branagan john kennedy john radford mick hickman andy kennedy joe craig
  2. doing the friargate run is perhaps the better option. weatherspoons, black bull, new brittania, the sun, oneills, lamb and packet, einsteins then the ground !!
  3. how many Rovers fans turned out last night ? for PNE we will have at least 1500 fans via ticket sales and I would imagine that a lot will turn up on the day.
  4. jim the gutter press is on a par with burnley, they print sh!t every single day of our lives and rarely tell the TRUTHFUL facts of an "exclusive" story, not only this but REAL news is always hidden in the pages amongst paper selling headlines and utter tripe. I mean when DB was allegedly humping the toilet girl (loo) it was plastered all over every gutter tabloid, at the same time our own British Forces were being blown to hell in Iraq ! We had two seriously nasty murders of young kids and then we have the story about emeeeelle esky having it off with yet another tart, guess where the murder story appeared ? we have big mammaried jordan (not the brfc one I should add) slobbing all over peter gayboy andre and then at the same time have an elderly lady aged 89 raped by a 21yr old thug, where did that story go and what appeared on the front pages ? The gutter press is simply sensationalism, not true reporting of the horros of our world. the editors simply have orders to sell papers not to tell the stories of pure and utter horrendous incidents that happen in day to day life, instead thy print crap about the likes of sven and his many conquests, beckham and his floosie. The reality is jim is that the british public wants real news stories not tosh so contact you contacts and tell them to do some real reporting, get to the front lines in iraq and afghanistan instead of waiting outside the local night club
  5. TG in relation to relationships between employees. Thats old hat. Under the human rights act NO person or boss has any right whatsoever not have they any authority to stop employees shafting each other or having a relationship. Not even the armed forces have that rule anymore.
  6. so Tony G if you were in an unhappy relationship and the chance to shag the most beautifulest female speciman that came across your path you would turn it down on the basis your a teacher ? get a grip pal. every man worth his salt int he same situation would have his tongue and todger ready at an instant ! The fact that he has a shagability rating much higher than the rest of us makes no mockery at all at his ability to manage the England football team. if you are shagging several females it doesn't take your ability to teach away. in fact I would say a healthy sex life maeks jack a happy boy, work hard play hard. he has obviously got something about him to make the beauties fall at his feet and every credit to him. if you cannot see my point you obviously bat for the other side or have the most gorgeous female companion alongside you to keep you company.
  7. wba will not score thats final
  8. alls well then. another pre season win. the winning habit needs to be continued on Saturday. it can only bode well as well in particular if we dont get any more injuries. can anyone tell us how the team played overall ?
  9. what has his private life and the fact that he has a magic wand have to do with any of us in particular what has it got to do with the media ? Nothing thats what. How many people have affairs? how many people can say their entire integrity is intacat ? If the lucky mother gets his leg over with different girlies then every credit to him. I am sure that 100% of all red blooded males would do exactly the same. Does the fact that every man is bonking all and sundry means that it affects his job ? Bollux does it. Every credit Sven, keep it rigid.
  10. oh yes forgot two or three more Icons in the Blue and White Norman Bell Don Martin Mick Heaton John Waddington John BUTCHER !!!!! Kevin Hird John Bailey
  11. BFS has NOT signed his new contract out of protest against phil gartside !!
  12. you can also see the unveiling of the unique statue of tom Finney and his famous splash pose ! Got a sneal preview today when speaking to the workmen and Derek Shaw the fat git !! very nice but nowhere as near as good as Uncle Jack
  13. I am with Manchester Blue on this topic. I too have met some of the members, MB, scotty and Pennyduff and survived !! But seriously its all about opinions and good natured banter, the insults are also part of it ! Big effort to keep it going like it is.
  14. stu thats probably what they are saying I cant disagree but pne tickets sales are very poor and I know that they are allowing entry into the ground payable by cash on Saturday !
  15. well laurence how about BEAMO HICKMAN JOHN KENYON MICK HEATON DON MARTIN ANDY BERGIN JIM ARNOLD BOBBY SVARC BOBBY HOY PAUL BRADSHAW SIMON BARKER these were all CULT heroes to the adoring Blackburn END
  16. I have two sets of heroes, one from the modern era and one from times gone by. Pre 1992 Simon Garner - does not need any introduction, our all time leading goal scorer and a Blackburn End cult hero. Stuart Metcalfe - A fantastic midfielder who could have made it big given the right stage. A much misunderstood player who was another hero. Roger Jones - fantastic keeper and again a classic hit with the home fans. A player who wore our shirt with pride. if I was allowed to have a fourth then Duncan McKenzie would have been the choice. post 1992 Alan Shearer - absolute phenomenen in the number 9 shirt. Made our dreams come true along with a squad of modern day sporting heroes. Colin Hendry - Mr Blackburn Rovers who wore our colours with pride. Henning Berg - a class act and another player with the club at heart. the fourth if allowed Sir Jack Walker - say no more
  17. rovers received a second allocation of tickets this morning from the nobenders having sold nearly of their first allocation. At 0930 today there were only 130 tickets left ! Looks like a half decent turn out for the away game and pne are letting supporters pay on the day as well.
  18. good snaps just a few pointers your'e no good as an advert for the AA ! You need spf 20 or was that the flush ??
  19. riml forget douglas in that quartet. flitty and tugay would be in front of him in any team/formation. JHC I would even pick reid ahead of him in that position.
  20. unless your a regular PrestonBlue then I wouldnt bother with the sumners ! History will tell you its a pne stronghold for nobbers !
  21. I have my lucky grollies my lucky trainers my shirt my badge and my lucky baseball cap but now I will add one a lucky turnstyle come on lets roll
  22. children please. Lets just have the best of good wishes on here for the forthcoming season, let last season go and look forward not BACKWARDS
  23. Personally I think todays result is an excellent end to the tour. Overall I would think the club and back room staff are happy with the preperations done so far. Positives good results clean sheets penalt shoot out win gallagher on fire penalty scored clean sheets minor knocks and bruises (awaiting to be confirmed) good team spirit plenty of football for everyone negatives hard to see any at the moment although we do appear to be a bit thin on the ground with experience up front. Now the next stage of our temas preperation begins in earnest with next weekends match at Preston. Am really looking forward to it like everyone else I'm sure.
  24. jim you got PMT already ? thats pre match tension by the way !!
