The only positive I can take from Trav being forced out is that he may have the courage to speak honestly and openly about the shit-show behind the scenes. They must have known there was a high probability Baker would be recalled. Given recent interviews with Eustace, you can bet Swag and Suhail recognise the importance of backing him. But, and here’s the problem. Do they have the balls to clearly transmit the real situation clearly to Pune? My opinion, simply no. I genuinely hope I’m wrong and we will only know come the end of the window. But, if we don’t get this right, and Eustace walks due to lack of support, I’m fearful we are into a massive downward spiral.

JRC just needs 3 or 4 games together to get his match sharpness. He’s one of the best technical players in our squad and a very good championship player at this level. If he stays fit, I’ve no doubt he will get back to the consistent form of last season when everyone was saying how good he is.
