  1. Past hour
  2. We did it the hard way. How many chances did we miss . Whoever was playing left back for us had his boots on the wrong feet. 3 pens and not one was a real pen. I thought the big timers for us - Elliot, McAtee were poor.
  3. Time will tell but if one of them signs on just one that means the 10k thing is nonsense as all 3 are on more as of now
  4. WHO said they had wasnโ€™t me Iโ€™m just questioning what quite frankly is a crazy theory
  5. well done England. Netherlands on Wednesday now
  6. It's possible but ... THEY HAVEN'T ANNOUNCED IT have they.
  7. I'd say the 10k think is correct you have to look at the bigger picture and all the things in it and for now it probably allows us to keep a few higher earners a bit longer, coupled with the squad filled out with lads on far less than 10k. Elements in the equation ... No/severely reduced funding Clubs surviving in the near future on sales income/low ticket sales The need to pull in line future wages to income ratio or risk punishment No players of any real value left to sell. A 10k cap makes perfect sense.....to them not us. I believe Preston had similar a few years but had no choice but to up it in order to compete but we are clearly being set up to go the other way. It's operation put a team out and don't go bust at Ewood now.
  8. I think he is playing 2 divisions higher than is ability..
  9. So your theory is both batth and weimann have had some gentlemanโ€™s agreement with Derby to say โ€˜donโ€™t tip off the press or let on we have signedโ€™ until rovers have announced a couple of signings so it takes the edge off?
  10. we`ve had chances to build on promising seasons since relegation, every time venkys have impeded the manager, there will still be rovers in 2030 though we`ll probably be in the bottom division with 2 stands open
  11. Tyler Morton still light weight and shite
  12. I disagreeโ€ฆ.there would 100% be suitors for Brittain trav and tronstad bids that would satisfy rovers? Going by the majority in here weโ€™d accept any sort of money for them so itโ€™s either weโ€™re in fire sale or weโ€™re not? im just not buying the 10k thing personally but itl def be financial one way or another
  13. What does that matter if the cap has on recently been introduced ?
  14. Anderson made a difference for me
  15. You're assuming concrete interest and bids that would satisfy Rovers and give the player a pay rise. The likely event is there is neither so unless they ask and forfeit whatever is owing in order to gamble on a move the fashionable thing to do at Rovers is play out or sit out your contract. Pick up your full pay and anything owing then go elsewhere free hopefully get bigger wages and a signing on fee.
  16. We can't keep missing these chances
  17. The fact he is Portuguese is very worrying!
  18. Aren't most of those players you listed on higher wages than 10k. Hyam and Cantwell are probably our biggest wage earners, Travis, Brittain and Tronstad on higher than 10k.
  19. It still boils my piss that weโ€™ve allowed Danny Batth to walk away. Probably the easiest, and certainly the most sensible deal, they could have done all summer. Weโ€™ll come to rue that all season.
  20. I am 62 now, on the day of relegation from the Prem, I said I will never see Rovers back in that Division. Why you ask? Cos that relegation was 100% deliberate and nothing as happened since to make me change my mind. Venkys Out now , there won't be a club in 2030.
  21. Not difficult to ask them not too really is it out of respect. These things happen in football all the time and they don't have to bother about shifting season tickets do they. All it takes is both players to say out of respect for Rovers to say please don't tip the press off yet By the way would you like to show me where Derby have announced it ?
  22. Is it though if they say nope I want out and have suitors would they then not move on to a better pay packet?
  23. Still a risk could lose form could get a serious injury. While stock is high now I doubt the โ€˜loyaltyโ€™ payments would/should be much of an issue
