  1. Past hour
  2. read the comment I reply to, should give you the reply
  3. Trust me there were more Rovers fans at Charlton moaning about Ismael that there were moaning about the referee. He made a big thing about the referee allegedly 'winking and laughing' at Cantwell. I think this was simply a deflection tactic from Ismael after a wretched performance. If they have a complaint about what the referee had supposedly done then that should go through the official channels and not the media.
  4. He gave his opinions just like you do including moaning
  5. Feels like we have a few players who may have played crap yesterday but should definitely start. Toth, Cantwell, Morishita, Wharton, Tronstad. Then in the other positions, its just about playing those who are the least crap or the least out of position. Pickering didnt do enough so put Ribeiro back in. We only have 2 centre backs so even though hes left footed, McLoughlin in and Miller at RB. Not square pegs in round holes. As expected, there is a big hole upon Travis leaving next to Tronstad. Baradji signed up to the physio room. Tavares is dreadful. TGH probably the best bet although theres a reason Birmingham loaned him out having never established himself at any of the 3 clubs. Out wide is a problem too. Hedges always tricks people into thinking hes coming good with his annual early season goal and couple of decent performances but hes already reverting to the mean. Kargbo is terrible. And De Neve and Henriksson are clearly nowhere near up to it. And up front, maybe give Gudjohnsen a first start.
  6. They should have gone for Thomas Frank from Brentford back in summer of 2024 instead of keeping Ten Hag after the cup win. Also can United afford another pay off after another poor appointment. I would go for Marco Silva myself
  7. Me too. I wonder what it cost back then ?
  8. I don't understand what the Ipswich game has got to do with them banning the LT.
  9. Same at my local club. If you didn’t get down there an hour before start of play you’d be lucky to get a seat. Becoming a member was really difficult. Ten years later they were begging people to become members.
  10. It didnt seem like his hand was in an unnatural position. But either way, point still stands. Moaning about the EFL, refs, the Lancashire Telegraph, all to deflect from the shit show.
  11. Ideally youd have one left footer and one right footer. But its not ideal to sell our only right footed centre back capable of playing more than 1 match without his body breaking down. We have 2 right backs, and one of them is having to play at centre back, so now the other is injured, the mess we see of a disjojnted defence with players out of position is upon us even earlier than we could have predicted.
  12. You could still have these people but not on the official board for decisions like this about the lack of penalty decision like most people did post match.
  13. We certainly have moved on from the "no excuses" culture we were supposed to be building under Eustace. Yes, it was really bad luck that the game had to be called off. But we just have to move on I think. Yesterday, Ismael was moaning about the referee. There has been an absolute shambles surrounding the Lancashire Telegraph. The club seems keen to deflect blame and make out like everyone is against us. We just need to concentrate on what we can control.
  14. to put forwards points which are of interest to Championship clubs as a whole, i the same way that there are also board members from League 1 & 2 clubs If something is too independent, it risks becoming out of touch with the people/clubs it is meant to serve
  15. so the board is pointless then if it championship why not just have 5 independent people on the board who aren't employ by any club? not think that's a much better way to have a board who are independent and not to league or club. for example Parry as Chairman, Birch as CEO and 3 independent people.
  16. So if we had beaten Ipswich they wouldn’t have banned Jackson?
  17. Can you imagine moving a kick-off time as the crowd would be affected by a local league cricket match! When you look at local league cricket today it's hard to believe the sort of crowds they used to get. I recall being on Rawtenstall's ground and you couldn't get a seat (and that was a ground with a full terrace of seating).
  18. I updated my previous post whilst you were replying with more context
  19. The EFL board is there to best run the EFL. Not having directors connected to league clubs incase the very infrequent issues like this arise would be silly if they are the best people to run the EFL. You could make a point that you don’t want all the directors to be from the same league, which is what they have done. What I do find odd is that Rick Parry, who fought to break away from the Football League and form the Premier League, is now EFL chair !
  20. I would prefer that the remain minutes are play with us 11 men vs Ipswich 10.
  21. They are on the EFL board, not the Championship board They are free to vote on situations which do not directly benefit them
  22. Would you prefer the red card Greaves got to be wrote off as well then ?
