  1. Past hour
  2. New York Red Bulls also saw something in him at 18 to pay 2.5 million dollars for him. Course, it didn't work out there for him either, but at that age it's pretty easy for things to not work out.
  3. The GBE calculator I used said he only had 10 points. So unless it's wrong (always been right before) or needs an update to reflect more recent games, he doesn't qualify.
  4. Has anyone seen enough of Jørgensen to give any indication that he is a quality player? One full season in the highest division in Denmark and the rest played in the Danish second tier? Someone in Bodø/Glimt must have seen something in him, and someone in Bodø/Glimt must have seen it fitting to let him leave...
  5. Which interview? Which comments by Pasha? The owners being willing sellers would be more exciting than any transfer we could possibly sign.
  6. It might have been his Mrs doing the Tesco run 😉
  7. At least he’s admitted he got it wrong, it did seem too good to be true signing a first choice right back from Ligue 1 🤣
  8. Are we to assume that Jorgensen qualifies for a standard GBE work permit on the basis of Champions League games?
  9. Knowing this regime, I'd say both
  10. So is the consensus that he was given the wrong name because the club was trying to flush out a leak? Or were they just trying to make him look silly?
  11. He may not hear much more, I expect Jacksons "trusted source" who he mentions in his twitter post will not be at Rovers much longer
  12. Roughly translates as: "I can't be bothered doing the legwork to unearth any genuine scoops of my own and haven't any worthwhile contacts either so you'll have to go back to me confirming stuff after it's happened." Fair play to him for apologising though. At least HE'S admitted his mistake and hasnt tried to double down on it or given it the usual "Things change all the time" guff that Nixon does.
  13. He'll be even more reticent to share what he has heard now.
  14. That second goal is quality. Pretty good set of goals he scored for them in generally actually. Nice range of them too. I wonder why they didn't rate him.
  15. Now that the obvious has been confirmed - never made sense the signing can we now go get another or shall i say a proper number 9 please…..cheers
  16. Kind of glad about that, it seemed a very strange signing, would have much preferred an actual wing back, rather than a winger who can play at wing back
  17. Aaaand that's the end of that one...
  18. I put my 'data driven' (read - play big lumps) head on like Val and Rudy
  19. How many times has it been reported that we are "in talks" with a player and then we've just sold them. The perennially injured Scott Wharton being the only contract extension they've managed in what, 2 and 1/2 years? tells you that none of the above will be signing on again. If they can't even get a bang average player like Ryan Hedges onto a new contract, something is definitely amiss.
  20. Why is Henriksson in there over Cantwell and Miroshita?
  21. Quite frankly Jorgensen simply has to be good enough, or we're absolutely fucked. And he needs to hit the ground running as we can't currently score in a brothel
  22. The 25-year-old has agreed a three-and-a-half-year deal through to June 2029, with a 12-month option, and joins subject to confirmation of a working visa, international clearance and approval from the relevant authorities. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2026/january/15/rovers-complete-signing-of-mathias-j-rgensen/ Doesn't answer the question of if it will be done in time, but does show they are aware of what is required
