  1. Past hour
  2. What I don’t understand is if he has been their top target all summer why not sign him early July and get the minor surgery then? On the same deal we have now encase it doesn’t work out? Seems like pretty much 2 months wasted on what was clearly our top target
  3. Baradji looks like an AM looks a big lad strong but can run at players it seems
  4. Suppose we will find out when they post the obligatory social media interview and if they don't post one, then the answer is "no" πŸ˜‰
  5. Selling players for a couple of million then investing jack-shit in cheap shite from the continent. Wouldn't be surprised if we sold Leonard and Tyjon and brough Fode Koita back.
  6. Wicket that brings in the footballing equivalent of Woakes in the 5th test...
  7. You can't really see if that comment relates to a specific question about the size of the fee. He does say his "information" is that the fee "will" exceed Β£3m. Which makes it seem extremely odd that he earlier wrote online that it "could" do so. Also relies on his "information" being truthful as well I suppose.
  8. 600 up. I think a wicket is about to fall but at the moment the bails are just teetering precariously.
  9. Dapo afolayan? There was a story a few weeks back. Is there new news?
  10. He's on loan so given the nature of this deal i'd say his handlers plan is get him here, get him fit, showcase his talents whilst costing Rovers not much then get him as good a club/deal as possible next summer. Agents vehicle again.
  11. They're all left-wingers at St. Pauli. https://www.thepeoplesgame.org/2014/06/16/hooligans-of-the-world-unite-fc-st-pauli/
  12. Oh I agree, I don't think the signing makes sense, and I don't get the hype he's got. But since we have been so desperate to sign him this way at least protects us in the event he's a crock.
  13. Comes to something when a journo feels he has to do that. This club is relentlessly toxic.
  14. The most likely outcome is he has his operation, and spends the majority of the season injured playing a few games off the bench before being sent back next summer
  15. What I would say is that it makes me even more sceptical about his injury, we must think it is a risk worth not signing him permanently for, yet he has been our top target. And I've never understood the hype from one YT video and Swiss league relegation battle, but happy for him to prove me wrong for us.
  16. Baradji needs to come in and make a real difference. We've just sold our club captain and replaced him with this bloke. Him being constantly injured isn't an option, in fact, if he is, it's catastrophic.
  17. Rather random question but does Baradji speak English?
  18. I think you're going to be very disappointed if you think that is what will happen
  19. Loan with an option makes sense for Baradji. We apparently think he is injured and needs surgery and who knows how that goes, while Yverdon and presumably Baradji are happy to play matches. Medical team get to monitor him properly now over a season and then can make informed decision on permanent signing next summer. Other posters have commented on the risks associated with the injury he allegedly has as well, so it protects club. We'd all be slamming them if we paid up and then he was a crock. (Also it saves money up front for us to back out next year and sign someone cheaper..)
  20. In fairness, he did swear on his daughter’s life πŸ˜….
  21. Has someone mention the st Pauli rw we are looking at?
  22. If another club offers more wages, he will be signed for Rovers at the pre agreed fee & wages, and then immediately sold at profit
  23. Again, this makes sense, in case Rovers send him back, its the Swiss club protecting themselves against potential loss as his current contract expires next summer
  24. Bingo! And that's exactly what Rovers are hoping for so we don't have to pay the transfer fee. It's so obvious how the club operates these days when it comes to players requiring higher transfer fees.
  25. Haven’t really been following anything club related for over a week but see it is still a shit show. Weird that I literally feel nothing about Travis leaving. Cretins well and truly have destroyed any passion & love that I have had left for this club. Been a lot more enjoyable spending time on hobbies and not watching the last game / following rovers news. Cherry on top has be that their main target all summer is injured and has signed on a loan deal πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ To those of you that are still fighting a non winnable battle for change I salute you. To the happy clappers that suffer from stockholm syndrome it is time to return to reality. I for one will enjoy spending my time on non Rovers related activities as I have noticed that I have been a lot happier the past week. Will occasionally still check in for the ongoings. I envy supporters of other clubs with competent people in charge πŸ˜”
  26. Am I misunderstanding what the manager is saying? Was he talking about us being close (ish) to signing an attacker or is Beradji the player he's talking about?
