  1. Past hour
  2. For me, far too focus on compare teams from different seasons when so much within that season has changed within the league, different teams, squad different, so many head coaches changes. Why is so relevant? based on his performances and the facts he is getting fitter and fitter. I'm sure he will start a game soon but you always had a massive and major point with this signing cos he was injury and that has always been your issue with Baradji being here. How many duds have we signed? some players work out and some don't. Even managerial greats like Fergie, Wenger and Mourinho make poor signings that don't work out. Mourinho had Salah and De Bryune at Chelsea and couldn't get them performing at all.
  3. In this particular poster's case, it's because he only ever pops up just before and during every transfer window and is never heard from inbetween. He's briefed by the Club imo.
  4. Our league position isn't an opinion. Unless you're saying Ismael is the problem? In which case fair enough.
  5. That's not quite correct, you can still pay cash in a supermarket just as you SHOULD still have the CHOICE to pay cash at a football match especially if there's a shit load of availability. Just because something is becoming increasingly prevalent doesnt mean it's right. Dynamic pricing for example. BTW I've had a smart phone and watched You Tube for years. Not the same thing at all. Id rather not use the former to pay for stuff.
  6. Well that's all down to personal opinion and what people see when watching games. But Alebiosu and Gudjohnsen have been our best 2 signings follow by Morishita, Miller and McLoughlin who have been solid of fairly good signings. Baradji is the one, I want to see more and see whether he can contiune to improve and show us why Ismael was so keen on here. that would be 6 out of 10 signings that have been better than Average, is that's s awful/bad? Is there actually any need to post such pointless comments towards a poster, why not respect their comments whilst disagreeing with them?
  7. Yeah sorry see above. I took your post to mean it was in BB End lower.
  8. If 6/10 of our signings are C or above (mostly A or then that is the majority. Granted maybe C is more adequate than good, but still.
  9. Family stand is currently JWL towards the BBE but used to be upper BBE before the move
  10. It is in the JWL
  11. Every club is special to their supporters and local area Cos people had to modernise with the times, yes older fans should be the option. Whether you attending a concert or comedy night or football game, everything is digital, your bank card on your phone or your tesco clubcard. only 3 or 4 years I wasn't a fan of watching youtube but only the last couple of years later, I watch loads of things on there including Rovers related podcasts
  12. Yes, I'd swap back if I'm being totally honest. Just to be clear, I'm not saying Alebiosu is bad, he's great.
  13. I think he'll play Henriksson up with Ohashi.
  14. Fair point but perhaps they should've moved them further along towards the tunnel even if that meant relocating a few others. Sit them near who they clearly see as riff raff then decide the price out and hope that section moves is muddled thinking beyond any realm of sense. Because that riff raff whether this prick likes it or not are the life blood of the club. The ones who always show up, many of whom would be at Boro on a Tuesday night in February if we are in the bottom 3. The ONLY ones often in the ground who make any effort to actually back the team or make a connection with players. This guy is a blithering idiot.
  15. Am I imagining things or did the "Family Stand" not use to be a section of JWL? That's where it should be, not in the BBE at all. Edit: Sorry misunderstood your post.
  16. Hypothetically, would you swap ? I wouldn't, I think Alebiosu has more to his game.
  17. Alebiosu is better as a wing back (though not leagues ahead). Not sure if that would be the case in a flat back 4 where he would be defending one on one and required to defend the penalty box a lot more.
  18. Who has said the majority have been good?
  19. It was a good idea moving the kids there,I sit across the tunnel and the interaction between the players and the kids is great to see, impossible when they were upstairs. I'd counter that though by saying that people having to vacate their seats to accommodate the family stand wasn't ideal.
  20. McLaughlin has done ok as a squad player / cover who has had to play far more than anticipated. Same with TGH. However Batth was simply far better last season. My POTY, and had he not got injured for those six game when Ismael took over we would have probably finished top 6.
  21. Im bloody surprised that's still up. Good spot. Im amazed a Club Official would be stupid enough to commit to comments like that about the fan base in print even if only on social media. By "The make up of the fan base in NO1" I presume he means predominantly white middle aged working class males without the College education he is referring to. And I assume the behaviour he doesnt like is chanting against the ownership and/or Pasha. As a white male above a certain age and long standing supporter of the Club who thinks the owners record is terrible and they need to be removed, I find those comments completely repugnant - even though I attained the level of education he now deems requisite to be able to sit in the Blackburn End. Ageist, Elitist and overtly racist, all in one fell swoop. Well done. Did one Fans Group or other sit and listen to that at some point? It should have been grounds for summary dismissal imo. Dynamite for the Coalition this.
  22. lets bring that 3 points home today, would take a point now tho. Will be interesting what we do if Gudjohnsen isn't fit.
  23. Failed? Why not give them 60 test matches like Crawley has had and then tell me they have failed. A seamers pitch? We've struggled on fast pitches, bouncey pitches, now moving pitches. What are you not understanding Chaddy? Rob Key said we are performing at 20% of these players abilities. Who are you blaming for that? Who? The Aussie press? A green wicket? The players? The captain? The selectors? The County game? We are under prepared, poorly managed, lacking character and struggling to even do the basics. Topped off with the drinking and slobbing about. Who are you blaming for that? The successes of the last few years have coincided with having the best batsman in the world performing at his peak during that time. The only one, who, despite the odd rash moment, has played professionally. It's a malaise brought on by the unprofessional approach of this regime over two or three years. Cowardice, masked as bravery, stupidity shrouded as creativity, recklessness purported as positivity, carelessness disguised as strategy, desperation spun as confidence, fogginess as intellect. The old 'bullshit baffles brains' and its worked. The arrogance of this shower, thinking they can re-invent test cricket. Well, i guess they have. We now get two day test matches and regularly struggle to get 200. These fucking idiots struggle to get double figures. It's confused the vast majority of our fans lacking the intrinsic nuances and knowledge of the game at the HIGHEST levels. A few last chance wins against lesser opponents, thrilling run chases and being better than what came before sufficing. Until you get to the very highest level. And it slowy dawns that you are lost. Because you can't ramp Starc at 90 miles an hour without losing your teeth. So its immediately back to the basics, which you've not practised and grooved for 3+ years. And you are then royally fucked. Goosed. Up shit creak without a paddle. Nowhere to turn. Rabbits in headlights. Trust me, it's a very bad place to be when you don't know your own game and can't trust your own technique. I'm all for continuous professional development, but that is refined amd developed in practice, in the nets. You don't want to rip up the test team, but do want to rip up the entire cricketing structure in the UK. And whilst there is merit in all your suggestions, to a greater or lesser degree, shit rolls downhill and we must now make it clear that what has been served up is not just losing cricket, its losing cricket without positives. I've gone full circle. I hope we get pasted. Heap on the humiliation. Then get rid of Key, Mcullum, Stokes as captain, fitness coaches, batting coaches, fielding coaches, catching coaches, dieticians. All of them. Start afresh. Atherton, Hussain, Vaughan. Lets get some intelligence back into the leadership and change cultures. Keep Root and Archer for sure. Stokes as an all rounder if his body is up to it. The bowlers in general deserve consideration. Your good at asking quesrions Chaddy. Riddle me this. Who is to blame for losing the Ashes in eleven days? Who are you blaming?
  24. Re the second paragraph… I’d suggest in a majority of cases an under 18 ticket needs to be affordable to the parent(s) not the child. The man sounds like an absolute moron.
  25. I seem to recall the last time we played in Melbourne it was much the same? We were bowled out for around 70 and lost the test in 3 days. Its clearly not a wicket that should be anywhere near a test match.
  26. Leagues ahead is some overstatement. Alebiosu is decent, no doubts. Brittain is much better in regards to technical ability, Alebiosu looks almost clumsy but still gets past his man and has a knack of digging out a cross when it looks like he shouldn't be able to. A game of opinions of course, though.
